Good Food in a small town

Down the road a few miles from Snoqualmie Falls, the small town restaurant may not look fancy but the reasonably priced food and good service make it a nice place to catch lunch after visiting the falls. The sandwiches and salads we had were all very good and creatively made.

This family owned restaurant is our families favorite. They have the best homemade, fresh from scratch food. The fresh baked bread is amazing and don't forget to have a piece of chocolate cake. You will feel right at home here. Everyone is so warm and welcoming. Often in the evenings there is live music. Because everything is made fresh don't... More

This is an inviting space with good food and an artsy and welcoming ambience. The coffee is good and the food is typical of what one would expect at a small café, not high-end gourmet offerings, but tasty sandwiches and soups with high-quality fresh ingredients. The bread was especially good and is made on the premises. Mostly, I loved the... More

We stopped in because they were out of touch for some time and started serving food again. Service is slow as maple syrup. Food which we had sandwiches was tasty but high priced for what you got. Local art etc. on walls.

We wanted to eat local after a few hours at the falls. We stopped here on a whim and because of fairly decent reviews on TA. From start to finish this was not a good choice. We were the only people in here (around 12:30 pm) other than a gentleman drinking coffee at the counter. We each ordered sandwiches and... More

We wanted to try a local place instead of a franchise and ended up at the Black Dog. "Quirky" was the first thing that came to mind as we came in through the back and walked through the kitchen. Once inside the restaurant, there was only one other person sitting at the counter. The staff was friendly and the menu... More

We stopped at this place for breakfast, after viewing the falls. A quaint cozy art cafe with beautiful decor and lovely food. We had breakfast and I loved their French toast and endless refills of coffee. Nice option when you are around the falls.

The Black Dog Art Cafe is a great name for this little restaurant. It creates for its customers a wonderful atmosphere with its eclectic decor and charming menu. The French toast is made from the restaurants fresh baked wheat bread thickly sliced. Washington is known for its great coffee and the black dog continues in that tradition. The cafe also... More

We stopped in for an early lunch; good, simple local food, in a quirky place that also has live music at night. Easy walk from Salish Inn, and a good stop while you're exploring the old town of Snoqualmie

Stopped in the Black Dog to patronize a local restaurant instead of a food court during the local Railroad Festival. The visit was bad from the beginning. There were only two tables full but we received no greeting, no menus - got those ourselves -waited 20 minutes to order even water. After ordering waited another 35 minutes and still no... More
