What else is there to say? Fun food, funky building, eclectic country decor. Old School house repurposed and an antique store next door. Just down the street is a nursery that you can get lost in as you wander thru the tropical plants. You gotta come for a visit and do the trio, Eats, tiques, and plants.

Don't get there often but it never disappoints. Seven of us met there today for breakfast...appreciated that they would do a reservation for six or more. Had a great table and very pleasant waitstaff. Enjoyed good food but most of us took some of our meal home...generous portions for those with big appetites. Of course we started with sharing a... Maltby Cafe is open for breakfast and lunch.Their food is a cut above everywhere else due to all their special touches. Breakfast is my favorite meal to eat there. They have many specialties and will adjust them to my needs. Every meal I've eaten there has been wonderful. Their only downfalls are that they are not handicap accessible since they... More

there is a reason this cafe has such a loyal following! try anything, and you will not be disappointed. Ambience is charming, staff is friendly, and food is abundant! There is generally a wait if you are not an early bird, but it is part of the fun! They move the lines very effiiciently, and we just chat and look... More

Our favorite place for breakfast. A fun cozy atmosphere, great service, and absolutely delicious food. On Saturday morning be sure to get there before 8:00 or you'll have a 30 minute wait in line for a table. And yes, people wait because the food is that good. Huge portions provide extra for another yummy meal at home. The red potatoes... More

Fun little spot in Maltby and our favorite for brunch! There's always a bit of a wait but it's well worth it. Lovely homestyle breakfast at its best!

We have been in the area for 14 years and this still is hands down the best breakfasts in the area. Our family and frineds who visit from out of state are always brought here for a meal.

If I could eat only one more breakfast in my entire life, I would eat at Maltby's. I compare all other breakfast places I try to Maltby's, and inevitably they all fall short. For your first time, you must start with Maltby's cinnamon roll, best shared with like 10 of your closest friends because it's HUGE. I have several favorite... More

Hands down, the best breakfast in the area. We ate here 10 years ago, and the quality (and quantity) of the food has not slipped. The slabs - and I mean slabs - of bacon continue to impress, along with the creative entrees. I didn't know avocado could pair well with eggs benedict, but it does. The service is mostly... More

My boyfriend has taken me to several great places when I've visited him in Washington, but I think my breakfast at Maltby's may rank No. 1. We arrived late morning and the place was packed. There was about a 30 min wait, which we used to browse a couple shops across the way. We were seated promptly and although busy... More
