their menu says, "everyone leaves happy." I must say that with the exception of some long wait times, this is a true statement. I used to love dining at Silver City, but the food has definitely taken a turn for the worse. I had my worse restaurant meal ever back in July; I couldn't even eat the undercooked salmon smothered in mustard. All they offered me was a free dessert, which I didn't take them up on. We have a group of about 9 of us that regularly go out to dinner, and about 50% of the time it's Silver City! They have excellent waitstaff, courteous hostesses and will even pass hors d'ourves on Fridays and Saturdays when the waiting area is packed! I have no idea why people rave about this place...it is beyond gross. Everytime we eat there we are very disapointed. We've even left the place with what we assume is not just a bad case of indigestion but perhaps food poisioning. My family eats here at least once a month. The food is generally fabulous, and their home brewed drinks are amazing. I highly recommend the Root beer and the Ginger Ale.
