This is no doubt the worst seafood/tourist trap dive ever. If you get a table with a window, you will look at a row of cars and headlights, not the Strait. Cramped, badly dated cheap decor, over priced, lame menu, unimaginative cuisine, non service. Feels like the worst of the 1950's. The river delta often stinks outside. It's far, far... more

During our 3 week trip to the Pacific Northwest, we decided to visit The Three Crabs after reading their website - we were in the mood for some plain and tasty seafood and thought this would be just the place. Big mistake! This was, by far, the worst food we ate during our trip; in fact, this is the only... more

All I can say is that I wish I had read the reviews BEFORE we drove all the way to this place! I ordered the crab cakes and honestly, IF there was any crab meat involved in the preparation, you would have to have a microscope to find it!! 100% breading, stuffing and filler. UGH. Couldn't even eat it. I... more

My daughter, a Cullinary Institute graduate and restaurantuer, my wife and I, who have travelled around the world, can all say this was one of the worst meals we ever had. The seafood was close to foul, dripping in water, poorly served by uncaring and inattentive wait staff. The prices, ok for super quality food, added to the insult. I... more

The Alderwood was closed on Sunday so one of the locals we met while kayaking suggested Three Crabs. If you go ask for a table at the window so you can see the Dungeness Spit, the Lighthouse and the ships going by in the distance. My fish chowder was just spicy enough to get beyond mild and the fish/oysters inside... more

We visited the 3 Crabs for Dinner on 8/27/2009. Overall it was a disappointing dining experience. The restaurant was recommended by the hotel staff as the place to get seafood. Market price for crab aside, the food ceratinly seemed overpriced. We had crab cakes, the special crab sanwich, and the crab cocktail. None of these were quite as tasty as... more

Sadly, after 25+ years in the area and enjoying the early Three Crabs experience, this place has gone horribly wrong. Tried to give them the benefit of the doubt and gave it another shot in June ('09) and ended up walking out. Probably a very good decision. There are so many other places to get a good seafood meal. Just... more

My husband I stopped at the 3 Crabs restuarant yesterday afternoon, 6/27/2009. My husband had the steamed seafood plate and I ordered the special which was the halibut oscar. I took a couple bits of my husbands meal and it was good, but not that good. Certainly not worth the 22.00+ dollars we paid for it. My meal, the halibut... more

The first time we went was terrible - and we waited 2 years to go back. We thought we'd give it another try and it was a huge mistake. Not only was it terribly expensive, the food was terrible and the service almost as bad. The decor is straight out of the 70's and it looks like that was the... more

We drove about 3 or 4 miles out of the way for this?! Lousy Lousy Lousy! Well at least we didn't get food poisoning. This place can't last. On the positive side, we had a nice view. more
