The first time I visited this diner a number of years ago, I remember being impressed with the “novelty of a 50’s diner” – it brought back good memories. I recall the service and food were both good back then. Each time since the first visit, I have been a little less impressed. This visit will be my last. The... More

The diner is just like the ones when I was a kid. Breakfast is excellent. Their house-made buttermilk syrup is excellent.

Taking the exit off of eastbound US-101, one takes a left, goes over the freeway and into downtown Sequim. Lacking further signage, my seatmate not a navigator, we guessed the first time, taking a right and stumbling onto the Black Bear Diner (see my other review of that). Back at where we were staying, I found where we erred; we... More

Food was great, service was very friendly and the place is super clean. Great place for a family meal. Highly recommended. Lots of staff on and food arrived quickly. Not one of those big chains, real homemade food. Portions are large. Clam chowder is superb.

We stopped here for lunch on a weekend. The decor is fun - just like a diner in the 50's. I haven't had a milkshake in years, and I'm glad this is the place I decided to have one! They make a wonderful shake. Our lunches were good also - a blue cheese burger, and a BLT. Good fries. Service... More

I love this cosy diner which has great food and the staff are helpful and keep it fun. The coffee pot is always circulating and it is a relaxed and friendly atmosphere with tunes playing which can bring back memories and keep everyone happy, including the kids.

Traveling through, we were checking into our hotel and talking with the staff about where to get good food at decent prices. She said the 101 diner is her favorite place in town. Another lady behind us was waiting to check in, and she added that she was from Oregon but comes up here 3-4 times a year and always... More

Today I went to the Highway 101 Diner and had the same thing (a BLT) that I had the first time I went. The first experience was a 4.5 for taste, the fact that the bacon on the sandwich was hot, the bread not very toasted and the piping hot sweet potato fries were super delicious. Unfortunately today's experience didn't... More

We stopped at the Highway 101 Diner for lunch on our way out to Sekiu. Very pleased! I had the unlimited soup and salad special- the navy bean with bacon soup was excellent. I just wish I could have eaten more of it. My husband and kids all had burgers, which were enormous. They loved the steak fries and special... More
