Great food, if a bit overpriced. Slow service. But very accommodating. Do not miss the creme brulee!!

Over-hyped restaurant. The food I ordered for my daughter and I was quite average in taste, flavor and size, and way overpriced.

There is no question about the unmatched quality of the food at the Alderwood Bistro. The great and friendly service and the attention to subtle flavor combinations and textures is amazing . A wide range of local fresh organic foods and fresh and perfectly prepared and served fish & meats illustrate the owners commitment to sustainability. Don't miss a meal... More

There is a lot of good food in Sequim but this place must be the best. Our mussel "special" was as good as it gets. The chef must like the taste of fennel (as we do) and in the oysters in fennel pollen/cream sauce, absolutely superb. Salmon was excellent as was their version of "land and sea". The wine list... We enjoyed the food here so much we visited twice during our stay on the Olympic Peninsula. Very creative menu and excellent wine list. We sat outdoors both times and it was a very enjoyable evening both times. We will definitely visit again during our next visit.

This was a wonderful surprise! It was a small place but it had wonderfully unique food that was deliciously prepared. For example, the salads were made with greens other than the usual of lettuce, romaine, or spinach. So good!! The staff was very friendly and accommodating. I would definitely recommend eating here!!!

We only had a few days in Sequim. When we asked the proprietor at Dungeness Barn House Bed and Breakfast where we should eat dinner, she did not hesitate to recommend this place. This was good advice and I am glad we took it. Everything seemed more flavorful than what would have been the case if the the same menu... More

The Olympic Peninsula produces some of the best vegetables, fish, mushrooms, fruits, and meat in the world, and the farms churn out the goodies year round. This restaurant takes advantage of all that bounty, enhances it with skillful, imaginative cooking, and serves it up to lucky customers. Alder Wood Bistro is the perfect little country restaurant you dream of finding... More

Loved this restaurant from the moment that I saw the menu--lots of locally sourced food, including a fantastic pork chop last night. The polenta that accompanied it was enough to send me back to the polenta drawing board and try to recreate it at home. My husband's king salmon was cooked to perfection. And the starters were equally impressive. We'll... More
