I love their breakfast. The omelets are my favorite but such a wide variety to choose from, so it's really nice to try different ones, based on taste. Always so hot and yummy! Lunch is awesome too. Their hamburgers are soo good!! The foods a bit more than what some would call "normal" cost wise, but a couple dollars more... More

The food I've had here on a couple of visits has been good but not outstanding. Service is friendly, but can be a bit spaced-out at times (how many times do I have to ask for my drink?). I'd also judge the prices higher than is quite justified by the food and service. It is a pleasant looking place though.

There were lots of neat things to look at here, while waiting for our food. Had a nice outdoor eating area, but too cool when we were there. The food was quite good, a little pricy but not bad. The house salad was excellent and my husband enjoyed the clam chowder, and I think you get one or the other... More

Service is always a little slow here, but the food is worth waiting for. Maybe because is is made from scratch. We went for lunch: three of us had one of the daily specials of German sausage on home made bun. One had onion rings, one a salad, and I had fries. Latter are extra thick and very tasty. The... More

Seafood Bisque--excellent! The Seafood Medley included prawns, scallops and a crab cake. I chose asparagus and garlic potatoes as my sides. The food was very good--my personal favorites were the seafood bisque and crab cake. Service was good. I would definitely recommend.

Every once in a while a group of friends get together for breakfast on a Saturday morning. This time we chose The Old Mill Café. They had no problem in taking our reservation for 10. Everything was nicely set up and ready for us. Service was excellent, there were three servers helping us with our orders and drink refills. Some... More

In a town with several "non-chain" restaurants, the Old Mill stand out for great food (and drink) and well as representing a trip into the long-ago lumber mills. Give yourself time to look over the pictures and artefacts throughout the restaurant. I really love the round table with a miniature logging business featured below the glass top. The clam chowder... Nice casual restaurant, some items are wonderful and others not so much. Will definitely go back, but not at the top of my list.

A group of 6 of us went here for dinner on Valentines Day. At first we were a little disappointed that the regular menu was not available and there was a small special menu to choose from. We were not disappointed long. Dinner was fantastic, with good size portions. My husband and I split the seafood platter and both had... More

It is a bit hidden but well worth the search. When we walked in, I said that any restaurant with such amazing ambiance just cannot match that experience with memorable food and service. How wrong I was! While waiting for our lunch, we looked around what resembles a museum more than a restaurant. There are huge five foot saw blades... More
