Although this is a chain, we had a great hamburger and chicken pot pie. This place gets completely full in the evenings so be flexible on time. This is the only hamburger joint in Sequim with a lot of variety and reasonable pricing we found in Sequim.

This is a wonderful place for breakfast, a sandwich, or dinner and is conveniently located across the parking lot from Holiday Inn Express. Portions are large for the price, with excellent service. I enjoyed the steak dinner with a glass of red wine after our return from Hurricane Ridge.

Reasonable decor, with very attractive landscaping. Average food. Good variety, and likely the best place to eat, in the nearby area.

We were traveling on Father's Day looking for a place where we could grab a quick breakfast before catching the ferry back to Seattle. We had expected to have to wait some time to get seated but it didn't take too long to get a table for 2, however, it was extremely busy and so although we got menus right... More

Black Bear Diner is a great option when we are on the road. The one in Sequim is conveniently located on H-101. It has a cute, cozy decor and large portions of tasty food. The day we were there we had the prime-rib sandwich with fries which made for a very good lunch. Drink refills are free which is a... More

This place was across the parking lot from our hotel so it was an easy choice. Typical large breakfast fare all tasty but not quite as good as a mom and pop type place.

As locals we have eaten here seveal times and been disappointed every time. This time (Sunday night August 31st, 6:30 PM) we had out of town visitors from Nebraska and figured it was their type of food. But since last time, staffing has changed. Previously you would have FOUR friendly staff people coming to your table. This time we had... More

Black Bear Diner sits just off the 101 on the entrance to Sequim. It is a beautiful property with a pond and bear statues that welcome you to the restaurant. Inside, the Diner is just as nicely decorated. In fact, a lot has gone into making this an appealing place to eat. But, don't be fooled. The food is pretty... More

There is a huge menu and I think the diner suffers from that. The food is fine, but nothing exceptional and seems overpriced for what it is.

After reading the reviews online we were not sure we really wanted to eat here on a Friday night. But since we stayed at the hotel across the parking lot we gave them a try. Many reviews said to expect a long wait and slow service. Was not the case for us. They said 10 minutes to get seated, only... More
