Scenic Drive to really good food!

My husband and I were staying in Cannon Beach. It's a lovely drive from there to The Depot Restaurant. It takes about an hour but driving across the Astoria Bridge is so much fun! We had a wonderful dinner here tonight. Everyone was very friendly and the food was top notch. We had the Salmon special, it was cooked perfectly and sauce was amazing. I'm glad we made reservations as most tables had reserved signs on them, so be sure to make a reservation! You don't want to miss this great food!

I have eaten at several places on the Long Beach peninsula. This was the best, though the now-defunct Ark restaurant was also excellent, and the 42nd Street Cafe was also very good. Our family enjoyed a wonderful dinner at the Depot - appetizers, salad, main course and dessert. Because we were a large group, we were limited to 4 entrees,... More

We had a wonderful dinner in this charming restaurant. I have been trying clam chowder all over Long Beach and this is a must try chowder! The salad was great and the special salmon with mushrooms was delicious! We will be back! The staff was very attentive!

The beef filet was cooked to perfection and the presentation was gorgeous! Great staff. Only think lacking was a cocktail but they have a great selection of wine.

the receptionist at our hotel recommended The Depot, and we checked it out online and made a reservation. We were not disappointed. The food was superb. The service was impeccable and personable. The wine list was quite long. Do be sure to make a reservation, especially on weekends. We wish we lived closer so we can go again soon.

We have been coming to this restaurant from BC since they opened because the Chef is amazingly talented and his wife is equally amazing with the wine and operations. The food is top notch and our recent visit included The Chef's table which was a treat. He had sourced an artisan cheese and paired it with an aged Balsamic, to... More

The depot is very easy to miss in the little ole town of Seaview. I am a big city girl but once a year I visit my grandfather across the country in long beach, WA. I admit that I am a snob when it comes to food and good food is hard to find in this area! The Depot does... More

Another amazing find in the Long Beach area. We were so happy we chose The Depot at Seaview for our last night in the area. The owners are the hostess and the Chef, and their pride (and talent) show. My partner and I had two wonderful meals. The Asian Salad along with the entree of clams and very light pasta... More

Visited Wednesday, May 27, 2015. Burger Nite. One of the best values in Northwest. As usual, Don, our server along with Kay, totally lived up to his skills. He was also the host for the evening. Burger Nite is one of the best ideas Chef Michael Lalewicz outdoes himself every time, if that is possible. But this is a place... More
