Description: The Shelburne Restaurant & Pub has been serving up local cuisine since...
The Shelburne Restaurant & Pub has been serving up local cuisine since 1896. Working closely with local purveyors and foragers of seafood and produce, our staff makes the most of an enviable bounty of northwest ingredients. A talented team of chefs and bakers take pride in their 'scratch' kitchen. The freshest, seasonal ingredients rule the day. Guests have the option of dining in the elegant dining room of the original 1896 building or having a brew and a bite in the adjacent pub, which also offers outdoor seating in the summer months. Choose a wine from our award-winning wine list, a northwest microbrew on tap, or one of our hand-crafted cocktails.

My family has been visiting Long Beach for years and eaten at The Shelburne many times. I was surprised that we were able to get last minute reservations at a peak time during the summer season, especially during the Kite Festival week. Alas, this was a tip-off that things at The Shelburne were not as they used to be. Despite... More

I am almost sorry to write a negative review of this vaunted historic place. It is truly beautiful and elegant with a charming image and legendary reputation. We may have just caught it at an awkward confluence of timing. Too early for dinner and wanting to keep traveling afterward, budget and time put us in the pub for some grub... More

Great food, an impressive wine list, and reasonable prices. Plus the ambience of the oldest continuously operating hotel in Washington. All three meals at the retaurant are great. And if David is serving, you get the best of personal service and advice on everything about the area.

It may be the ONLY fine dining in Seaview, WA. I didn't see any others but after dining at the Shelburne I didn't look very hard. Wine Spectator magazine just gave them an award for excellence. They pride themselves on using only local and sustainable, organic ingredients which makes for some very interesting dishes. Try to get David as your... More

This restaurant came so highly recommended but we were disappointed with our pricey dinner. The menu did not have a wide variety of choices and it seemed like it was trying too hard to be fancy--one too many sauces, everything a little over the top. My husband's beef wellington was overcooked, dry, and tasteless. (They comped us coffee as compensation.)... More

Absolutely outstanding food in a wonderfully romantic setting. The local razor clams were the standout, but Willapa Bay oysters and Dungeness Crab Ravioli still make my mouth water. This place has great respect for its local bounty. In spring and fall the proprietor forages mushrooms and prepares them in a variety of dishes, all of them amazing. The wine list,... More

Quiet atmosphere and excellent quality and personalized food ordering and attention. Ambiance, classic, friendly are the best words to describe this place.
