Scrumptious food

Went to the Pub on Saturday, December 28th with my son and daughter in law (she calls me Mom, I am thrilled....) Just hanging out, we ordered french fries with béchamel and home made soup. Everything was delicious, great service, young people cheering on the football games, great time!

I had one of the top 10 restaurant experiences EVER down in Long Beach of all places. Shelburne Inn is owned by David & Laurie, and after meeting him and having the most amazing experience I can't rave enough. David really knows his wine. Anyhow, the dining room was fabulous and gorgeous, the food stupendous (did I mention many, many... More

This Inn has been around forever and now it feels like grandma's house when you walk in. It really needs some updating. The menu here is limited. The soup du jour was excellent, but my beef wellington was doughy and the crab ravioli was a very small portion. The vegies were perfectly cooked and the beef without the dough had... More

A great gourmet restaurant on the Washington coast. The restaurant specializes on the Northwest coast for its menus. Great local oysters, shellfish, fish, mushrooms and local produce in general. So what did we have for dinner? Beef Wellington in a great pastry stuffed with the beef and local mushrooms it was fabulous. We did the prix fixe dinner with a... More

My family had dinner at the restaurant last weekend and were treated to an amazing culinary diversity of the finest seafood by Chef Cedar. He was very accomodating to our youngest family member who has severe food allergies. Starting with the razor clam appetizer that consisted of perfectly prepared sauted clams that were impeccable in taste and texture. The special... More

This place has a lot of charm. It is the oldest continuous inn in Washington State. I think established 1890's. The pub has a great feel, pretty small, intimate, and has music on Tuesdays I think.

Very nice, appropriately attentive waiter, but the food overall was average. The salad tasted ok, but was travel worn, old and limp. the bun on the salmon was not so fresh, and the salmon was ok. Expensive for what we were served.

The crab ravioli was very good but plainly plated, and the cioppino was a bit too spicy for my partner who loves that dish. We ate in the restaurant, which was pretty empty. We did not realize that there was a separate pub until after we ordered, and that probably would have been better.

While staying at the inn, my wife & I decided to have dinner in the pub one night. We split a Ceasar salad, the calimari, and a chicken pot pie. All three were very fresh. We had a couple of drinks and dessert. The strawberry crisp was delicious!

Had the pastrami sandwich from the pub menu. It was tough, fatty and plentiful. I rarely deconstruct my food to remove fat, but here I did. The included Caesar salad was wilted and grossly over dressed. Worst of all, we were forced to eat on the deck by the "singer" an elderly beard who should have quit long ago.
