I brought my boy friend to the Shelburne for his birthday dinner and was it ever a hit! He said the Apple Stuffed Pork Chops were one of the best meals he has ever eaten in a restaurant. My Chantrelle Risotto was also delicious.

I had the steak with scallops. The steak was good, done to order, the scallops were so salty I couldn't taste anything but salt. Insanely salty! The fingerling potatoes were nicely roasted but came with no butter. My husband had the boullibase which was also way too salty. The wine by the glass isn't on the wine menu which seemed... More

This was our second time to the Shelburne. My wife stayed here over 25 years ago and the same owners run the hotel and restaurant. Food was great and service was very friendly and efficient despite their credit card software going down, but they were professionals and all turned our great. Grass fed steak that was a large and well... More

Fresh food, with interesting preparations. Friendly service with wonderful atmosphere--both in the pub and the restaurant. A great place to stay for a night or few. One of the best B*B's around.

We liked the ambiance of this place, part of the associated 1896 Inn. The pub had outdoor seating which I typically prefer and you can order off either the pub or restaurant menu. We ordered pub stuff, Reuben and the local fried oysters. Both were very good along with the service. The only reason I didn't give a 5 is... More

Not only a world class B&B (The Shoalwater Inn) but a really nice restaurant for evening dining as well as an earlier in the day pub (Heron and Beaver) for appetizers and single malts, etc. Probably should have a bite here if you can.

We have always stopped at the Shelburne Restaurant and Pub on the way to Cannon Beach and have found the food to be interesting and very good. So we were quite disappointed when we stopped a few weeks. The menu had changed - ordinary fare. I had a chicken sandwich, which was good, but not outstanding. My husband had fish... More

I live on the peninsula during the summers and run out of places to eat in about a day. For some reason I forgot about the Shelburne for a few years and then stopped by last summer and a few times this summer. Every time the food has been excellent. The pub does a great caesar salad and their Kobe... More

Established in 1896 and now under the capable direction of Husband and Wife team David Campich and Laurie Anderson, my friend and I enjoyed a lovely, leisurely lunch out on their shaded patio. We had a delicious tomato-blue cheese soup, a very fresh salmon filet sandwich on a brioche bun and crab-razor clam cakes. Although the dessert offerings were very... More

We ate here as we were staying at the Inn. The food had a nice variety of fare; some seafood but also other choices. A guitarist was playing the night we went and was very pleasant to listen to. Our food was served quickly and was hot and tasty. Our server was attentive and interactive. We also had breakfast the... More
