Excellent authentic Thai food in seatac

This place is a jewel for Thai food when in Seattle area. Food is authentic Thai. .. Had a lot of thai food before in Thailand and the taste is as good here. If u wanna have food here suggest to be early like 6 pm or late like 830pm. .. but then you would have to eat in a... read more

We ate here with friends and had the food served family style so each of us could try each other's selections. Wonderful food and great service.

My sister recommended this restaurant, and she was really correct in her praise for this place. It was crowded with people waiting to be seated, but well worth the wait. The menu is very client friendly with photos of the various dishes. The garlic fried chicken, ginger pork dish, and the special Thai salmon dish were absolutely great. Like their... More

I will review the service and the food separately. The service is downright horrible. Took them 20 minutes to come take our order (including drinks). We didn't mind so much because I was catching up with an old friend I hadn't seen for a long time. The rice didn't come until after we were nearly done with one of the... More

This used to be the best Thai restaurant in the area. This time we were disappointed. Though we were seated promptly and our order was taken right away, we waited over a half hour for our food. When it came it was good but the quantity was much smaller than it used to be though the prices have gone up.... More

Bai Tong (banana peel) was started when Thai Air Crews had layovers in Seattle and wanted to eat the real Thai food they were used to. It has been terrific and authentic since day 1. Enjoy wonderful food here. It is the best.

I think this was one the the first Thai restaurants in the Seattle area, some 25 plus years ago, though not in the original location. The food is very authentic and not as westernized as some places around town. That may be good or bad for you depending on what you like. From appetizers, to soup, to salads, to entres... More

We were taken here by a niece during a two week vacation in Seattle. I don't believe we have ever been in a Thai restaurant that has this interesting (and classy) a menu. Outstanding and varied choices and the food itself was extremely good. Completely different from other Thai restaurants (we're from the San Francisco Bay Area and admittedly not... More

I met a business associate for lunch at Bai Tong in Tuckwilla today for lunch. I had eaten at another Thai restaurant nearby on other occasions and ended up at Bai Tong by accident as that's where to I asked my associate to meet me. It's towards the industrial section of Tuckwilla just south of the Westfield Southcenter mall. The... More

Had gotten many great reviews from friends and finally experienced ourselves. It did not disappoint. The crispy garlic chicken and tom ka guy soup were awesome. Rolls with rice paper were so fresh and the peanut sauce was Sooo good! I highly recommend!
