Our trip back to PHX from MFR kept us in SEATAC for 4.5 hours on a Monday from 1:30-6pm due to a delay on Alaska Airlines. We opted for Ivar's since we were still interested in seafood from our previous trip through SEATAC and trying Anthony's. We ordered the clams, halibut, and prawns. All came with fries as they do... We tried to find Ivar's on the water front, downtown Seattle, but it was closed because of the bridge construction nearby (no one can get to it!) Had heard their chowder was great, so I was happy to see Ivar's at Sea-Tac the morning we departed. I had the white clam chowder, their most popular, for breakfast. It was perfect:... More

Had the crab topped Ceasar salad (~$13-18, I forget but worth it); it had a generous portion of crab and was very fresh & sweet. * I liked this way better than the food we had at the sit-down Ivar's on the waterfront on Alaskan Way where I had raw oysters and steamed clams. The food was good, but way... More

Makes the airport layover worth the time! Seafood central! At 7 am, the front gal, a Filipina, was fantastic. I ordered one thing, ate that, and then another. She handled all the customers well. When I asked if the salmon chowder was good, she said yes and gave me a tiny cup sample. It was amazing. I went back later... More

It's been a while since we were there, but we still marvel that we had a good meal in an airport! Fish & chips were so tasty, fresh & hot. Food court could use more seating

Stopped at Ivan's on the wharf. Food pretty much like fast food sea food any where. It was good but nothing special. The prices were good but the portions were on the small side mostly just French fries.

Had the fish and chips with cup of chowder and a drink - $16. Fish was only ok and the fries were cold. I wasn't expecting much but even this was a letdown. Good luck to anyone else trying this.

This is the best claim chowder in the world - bar none. The perfect balance of potatoes and clams - in a rich white base that is not too heavy but certainly not watery. Great flavor - it is perfection. Located in the main terminal - the service is excellent - the line moves fast. Its worth the walk.

This is a very nice location in the Sea-Tac airport. Great to be able to grab a quick, but delicious dinner before boarding the plane. Fish was cooked to perfection and piping hot. The combo came with fries, which were okay, but next time I will switch fries for coleslaw. The fries weren't crisp, they had a soggy consistency, but... More

Get the halibut versus the cod for a light texture and taste. Cod is great, but the halibut makes it even better! Great service every time I come through the Seattle airport.
