Always a fine place to go

I go here often, mostly with co-workers for a casual business discussions. First, the bread is delicious. Eat all you want, but if you fill up, you'll miss out on the food. I had the Pork Platter which I enjoyed but it was a bit fatty. My wife and daughter had the fish sandwich. Neither could finish the fries, and my wife couldn't finish her sandwich saying it was too much oil. My son had the Blackened Chicken Platter which at $16.95 was a bit expensive for a pasta dish. However, he... More

My wife and I stopped in this weekend after a long day of shopping. What a fun experience. Even though the place was packed they got us seated right away. I was impressed how friendly the staff was. You are greeted and offered a bowl of peanuts to snack on while you wait and it's peanut shells on the floor.... More

Western style road house joint with western music, Eat peanuts and toss the shells. The food is good and the waitress is Carol. She has been there for 12 years.Trust her to suggest good food.We had the prime rib sandwich and some interesting burgers. There is a full bar, big dining capacity, and clean restrooms. Great atmosphere for bar-b-que as well as other food. Great fresh rolls! Plenty of peanuts and almost a necessity to throw the shells on the floor. The service was great and the waitresses friendly. Oh, and their shirts had the greatest sayings on the back.

There is never anything wrong with a restaurant the serves peanuts and you put the shells on the floor. The portions are always generous and the drinks from the bar don't skimp on the alcohol. We have had excellent servers and not so excellent servers here. On our last visit it was apparent the waitress was having a bad day... More

Really fun place and good food. Start with roasted peanuts and shells on the floor. There hot bread with honey butter is wonderful. Steaks are great. Wait staff is very intensive.

We thought overall this restaurant was good. Fun decor a bit kitschy and very Southern style. I had the fish and chips with a caesar salad and my husband had a steak and crabcake combo with a dinner salad. The food was good and a quick service. The fried dill pickles were great!

This reminded us a bit of Texas Roadhouse in the midwest. LOTS of choices on the menu. Crowded, but the staff keeps things moving. Big portions of wonderful food. I really liked the house salad with blue cheese and their own mustard dressing. My husband's prime rib was tasty and I enjoyed my coconut shrimp. All of the bumper stickers... More
