Description: Renton’s Finest Foods Since 1901! * Steakhouse voted #1 Western WA in 2010 * Affordable high quality menu *Historic Landmark in Renton The building in which the Melrose Grill resides was established in 1901 and has served as a tavern since the days of the horse and buggy. It also operated as a pool hall, soda shop and card room during Prohibition. Recently restored, Melrose Grill kept its historic roots with the original mirror-backed bar with its rich, dark woods. The walls showcase vintage photos that highlight the transitions this grand building has gone through. With wainscoting on the walls, low-slung lamps and high ceilings the space feels as open as the West was when it was built. The Food and Service at Melrose Grill will amaze and delight your senses. We work hard to provide our customers with the finest foods available, and prepare them in a way that will tame even most particular palate. Voted #1 Steakhouse in Western WA by King 5 & Evening Ma.

While we did have to wait a considerable amount of time for our table even though we had reservations, the wait was worth it. My husband and I split the Filet Mignon and it was done to perfection. It is rare in our experience these days to see that an entrée actually incudes items such as salads and choice of... More

We took a friend to the Melrose Grill to enjoy an evening of conversation and we did. Two of us had beef and the other the pork medallions. All of us thoroughly enjoyed our food. We ordered a bottle of wine and the waiter suggested a different wine which we accepted and found to be very good. We went to... More

Service with a smile and food that tastes great. My friends and family loved the atmosphere, and enjoyed its small size.

Great food and reasonable prices. A very welcoming experience with knowledgeable and friendly staff. No reason to go to Daniel's or El Goucho when a steak house with character and great food exists close by.

Unbelievable steak, cozy small restaurant with fun environment. This was the best steak I've ever eaten and beats Ruth's Chris and many other high end steak places hands down. Quite a surprise and reasonably priced for the product delivered. Loved it!

It's old, it's in a town that looks forgotten. Not modern, not fancy. The foods are good, which I had better before, but this place has a magical feeling about it that is hard to describe. Staffs are friendly, service with a great family kind of smile that are not put on. Portions are generous, steaks were cooked to perfection.... More

Not exactly exotic here in downtown Renton, but this Restaurant always serves consistant quality steaks. The steaks are are comparable to Jak's, the environment is old school bar and steak house, warm dark atmosphere and very professional friendly service typically. A hidden gem of a steakhouse, who thinks of Renton for a great steak, the people that know about Melrose... More

We had the steak and salmon dinners. The salads had too much garlic, the vegetables too much pepper. My steak had too much garlic in the rub. My wife's salmon was good but we think overpriced at $30. The service was excellent.
