If the Melrose upped the quality of their food a little, it would be THE place to eat on the south end. It has great service and atmoshphere, but I was underwhelmed with their steaks both times I ate there. more

We are local to Renton and are foodies so when we crave an excellent steak there is no other place we want to go. We have tried out many Steak places in Washington and nothing compares. Great little family-owned steak house. Darkened interior can make for a romantic evening. Steaks are fantastic, especially the rib-eye! They don't take reservations and there is always a wait on weekend evenings, but it is worth it. more
