Renton’s Finest Foods Since 1901! * Steakhouse voted #1 Western WA in 2010 * Affordable high quality menu *Historic Landmark in Renton The building in which the Melrose Grill resides was established in 1901 and has served as a tavern since the days of the horse and buggy. It also operated as a pool hall, soda shop and card room during Prohibition. Recently restored, Melrose Grill kept its historic roots with the original mirror-backed bar with its rich, dark woods. The walls showcase vintage photos that highlight the transitions this grand building has gone through. With wainscoting on the walls, low-slung lamps and high ceilings the space feels as open as the West was when it was built. The Food and Service at Melrose Grill will amaze and delight your senses. We work hard to provide our customers with the finest foods available, and prepare them in a way that will tame even most particular palate. Voted #1 Steakhouse in Western WA by King 5 & Evening Ma.

A fun place to go for brunch

Went there with my wife and son. The waitress was a little preoccupied but the bar tender picked up the slack and was great. Good basic food with a nice atmosphere.

This is a hidden GEM! First little hard to find and park. OLD building with such character inside and out. Now the food, this is the PLACE for a perfectly cooked steak. I had the Filet and my husband had the surf and turf with shrimp and sirloin on a skewer. He got 4 large shrimp and said his steak... More

Every time I go to Melrose I love whatever I order. The service is good. And I love the intimate nature of the space. If you like steak you should make a trip to Melrose Grill.

Great food, and always where I want to go for a special occasion. Never had a bad thing off their menu, they have great cocktails, and very excellent staff.

This an old fashioned place to have really good food. From the outside you wouldn't think so, but inside it is just awesome. The food is always awesome and the service is always great. Daily specials on the blackboard. Prices are very reasonable. I love this place.

I eat here every time I go to Seattle. Their steaks (and everything else) are outstanding. The restaurant is always crowded, there is a reason for that. Service is excellent, the last two times I have had Reyna who is perfect at her job. Don't try going without a reservation though!!!!

I have been to this restaurant each time I have been to Renton and have never been disappointed, the Fillet steak is mouth-wateringly good and the Parmesan potatoes are an excellent side.

The steak is always terrific...as good as I've had at Daniel's, the Metropolitan, or other fine steak houses. The side dishes are simple but creative, and served with flair.

Melrose Grill has a very eclectic menu, and everything on the menu is wonderful! However, steaks and chops are their speciality, always good and cooked perfecty!

A call to get together for dinner caused us to look for a place easy for both of us to get to. We agreed that the Melrose Grill is about equidistant from both our locations. After getting there we decided that we had got extra lucky with our choice. The New York steak was prepared to perfection and the roasted... More
