Renton’s Finest Foods Since 1901! * Steakhouse voted #1 Western WA in 2010 * Affordable high quality menu *Historic Landmark in Renton The building in which the Melrose Grill resides was established in 1901 and has served as a tavern since the days of the horse and buggy. It also operated as a pool hall, soda shop and card room during Prohibition. Recently restored, Melrose Grill kept its historic roots with the original mirror-backed bar with its rich, dark woods. The walls showcase vintage photos that highlight the transitions this grand building has gone through. With wainscoting on the walls, low-slung lamps and high ceilings the space feels as open as the West was when it was built. The Food and Service at Melrose Grill will amaze and delight your senses. We work hard to provide our customers with the finest foods available, and prepare them in a way that will tame even most particular palate. Voted #1 Steakhouse in Western WA by King 5 & Evening Ma.

Monthly dinner with friends

Melrose Grill looks deceiving from outside. Inside you will find great staff, nice ambience and delicious food. My favorite is the lobster. A great way to spend time with good friends.

We have always had excellent food and service in a fun environment. Big complaint is they do not accept reservations so the wait is often just too long and go elsewhere.

Melrose Grill was recommended to me by my son, so I had to try it or he would bug me mercilessly. I was beyond surprised. This is the best kept secret in the Seattle area. What an amazing steak house. You don't have to pay an arm and a leg or drive all the way into Seattle or Bellevue to... More

If you're looking for a great steak, you don't have to go to Seattle to the Met. This place is just as good. And the seafood is also excellent. They also usually have something unique on the menu that changes from day to day.

Came here based on trip advisor reviews and open table reviews. Did not disappoint. Not many appetizers, but great steak choices. I had the pork medallions with mushrooms. They were very tasty and the Parmesan potatoes were great. The menus have the history of the location written. Restaurant is small and cozy.

Went there with my wife and son. The waitress was a little preoccupied but the bar tender picked up the slack and was great. Good basic food with a nice atmosphere.

This is a hidden GEM! First little hard to find and park. OLD building with such character inside and out. Now the food, this is the PLACE for a perfectly cooked steak. I had the Filet and my husband had the surf and turf with shrimp and sirloin on a skewer. He got 4 large shrimp and said his steak... More

Every time I go to Melrose I love whatever I order. The service is good. And I love the intimate nature of the space. If you like steak you should make a trip to Melrose Grill.

Great food, and always where I want to go for a special occasion. Never had a bad thing off their menu, they have great cocktails, and very excellent staff.

This an old fashioned place to have really good food. From the outside you wouldn't think so, but inside it is just awesome. The food is always awesome and the service is always great. Daily specials on the blackboard. Prices are very reasonable. I love this place.
