Service was good and the atmosphere was laid back and fun. It seemed that our waiter was a little distracted with so many people showing up for the festival across the street. I ordered the Smoking Monkey Stromboli. The stomboli arrived cut into slices and placed as a ring on my plate. While very decorative, it's not the way I... More

We love Smoking Monkey Pizza! It's our go-to place when we want pizza or gelato. Another favorite there is the stomboli...so yummy!!

We had dinner here on 5/14. We we're the only people dining in but no worries as it was an unseasonably hot May night. The pizza we ordered was olive oil based and topped with mushrooms, sausage and several cheeses. Very delicious and a superior crust. Very friendly service.

The pizza crust was very, golden brown & crunchy. However, the marguerita (tomato sauce & cheese) pizza did not have enough mozzarella cheese to cover the pie. The sauce was decent, but more cheese was needed. The pepperoni pie was better. I grew up on NY pizza. Smoking Monkey Pizza couldn't compete there. All the staff were very pleasant and... More

This is my kind of gourmet pizza. Really good value and very tasty food. The location is in Downtown Renton. There is parking and it is almost across from the Farmer's Market.

Picked up a takeout pizza and found it too greasy for this occasional heartburn sufferer. The menu did look good. Maybe we just ordered the wrong pizza, and I'm sorry I can't remember what we got. I just remember I couldn't eat more than a couple bites.

The only thing I've had at this restaurant is the regular stromboli (pepperoni) but it is wonderful. And HUGE! It's definitely enough for 2 with some to take home. You have to try it!!

Decent fresh salad and pizza better than the most of the more popular thin crust pizza restaurants in the area. Not a bit of sogginess, fresh ingredients and cooked perfectly. Both times I've eaten there I've had a piece of delicious tart for dessert. Today was Pear Frangipani. Previously it was Peach Blueberry. Husband had the cappuccino gelato which was... More

I went to this place based on trip advisor reviews. I'm in town for one night and went to the Smoking Monkey about 8:30pm on a Thursday night. The place was dead, one other guy at the bar. I ordered a bear, a salad and a pizza. I sat at the small bar as is protocol for a solo male.... More

This was a great pizza place. Great prices, tasty (the non-gluten free looked fab and everyone eating them loved them!) and they do a great gluten-free pizza! The meatballs in tomato sauce were only $7 and were homemade, really delicious and huge!! (We were expecting a tiny portion for that price!). Serving staff was awesome, friendly and made helpful suggestions!!... More
