Best Thai in Redmond

Iyara Thai is a hidden gem in Redmond. They have a great menu selection, but my favorite dish here is the Singapore noodles. The owners know what I like and they make the dish right every time. Their spice scale goes from 1-4, 1 being mild and 4 being very hot; however, they are more than happy to... read more

I eat at Lyara about once a month. In the winter it can be chilly because there are so many windows, but other than that its a great place to eat. The combo, Phad Thai and Red Curry is my go to lunch. At $8.95 a fair price. Good service (can get busy/slow at times). Oh, and if you have... More

I almost always get the pad thai with either tom yum or tom kha soup, so I haven't extensively sampled the menu. Things to know other than "the food is good": - There is an unadvertised DISCOUNT: 10% discount if you pay with cash instead of credit/debit. This isn't on their website but it is posted in the restaurant itself... More

This restaurant seems to be a family type operation, but the food is well beyond that of most Thai venues. Favorite dish is the trout with green papaya garnish. I'm fairly certain the ownership has changed since most of the reviews here. It's much much better than before.

Great value for $$. Generous portions. Often left overs. I often order takeout from the office just before I leave. by the time I get there it's always ready for pickup. No wait. Pad Thai is tastier than others that charge more

I have enjoyed good Thai food in various cities and I have to say this has some of the best flavors. Variety of ingredients and the right balance of heat:taste. Don't miss the Thai iced tea either. It did have a bit of a "discount" feeling though: You have to buy rice separately with a main dish, and the table... More

Used to like this place and we came here all the time. Then it started to go down hill and became a crap shoot. Sometimes it was great, sometimes it was mediocre. Like they would forget to put cashews in the cashew chicken. Then they started charging for rice. Really? Charging for rice in an Asian restaurant? Then the service... More

This restaurant was within walking distance of the Redmond Town Center. I had low expectations but I was very pleasantly surprised. The food was flavorful and the atmosphere was conducive to conversation. I will definitely return.

For all the soups and curries they use chicken broth. So we(four of us who were vegetarians) were left with lesser items on the menu to order. Have to mention though that I'm not a local here and don't know of many other restaurants in Redmond - was here on a trip. Overall OK food.

As a frequent traveller to Thailand we are always looking for good Thai food back home and Iyara has become our favorite spot for getting a taste of Thailand without the long flight. Most Thai food is fairly similar, and I think it is relatively easy to make OK Thai food, but difficult to make *great* Thai food - the... More
