This is a fairly cozy corner restaurant in a quiet part of Redmond. It has a nice atmosphere and has quick service. The restaurant is child friendly as well. In terms of the menu, I found that it was difficult to find something that I identify as "simple". Many of the items had a twist to the traditional Mexican dishes... More

Ooba's is centrally located in Redmond and it's been a great spot for lunch 2 out of the 3 times I've gone. This is a Mexican cantina type restaurant with the menu up on the board. There's a great variety of Mexican choices including the usual tacos and burritos. My favorite is the Salmon Tostada, which actually is more like... More

The oddly-named Ooba Tooba (did the owner once play tuba in a Mariachi band?) delivers authentic Mexican food and cold Coronas in a family-friendly, fun and casual setting. With color-stained concrete floors, a walk-up Order In counter (no table service), family-style sit-n-eat tables, and an eclectric mix of license plates, antique signs (I've never seen a metal Nehi Soda sign... This is a basic walk up to the counter and order mexican restaurant in a strip center, There really is no atmosphere, but has very, very good food at a good value. A lot of locals stop in for take out and workers arrive in groups for lunch during the week. Don't expect fancy. Do try it.

We go often with our family or for lunch with friends - both take out and dine in. Order at the counter and then find a seat. My favorite dish is the salmon taco plate with freshly grilled salmon. The salsa bar is fresh daily with lots of choices. My favorite is the pineapple salsa which is not available everyday... More

This our go-to take-out place. We've never been disappointed--the food is fresh and very tasty. The steak fajita is my favorite. Great value.

A small joint in the middle of nowhere in Redmond, but their beer-battered fish burrito is to die for. And the salsa bar, Yum! Come before lunch time to avoid crowds!

We are visiting and are not locals. Went on a week night based on other reviews giving us the wrong impression that the food was pretty good. Not the case. Had the chicken enchilada plate that had next to no cheese but way too much sauce. The grilled chicken was plentiful, smothered in spicy sauce and wrapped in tortillas. The... More

The best way to find out about Ooba's is by word of mouth because it is tucked away in a corner near Ben Franklins Craft store. Oopa's offers a wide variety of authentic and fresh mexican food. Our family has never been dissapointed in the quality of the food and the amount of food you pay for. It's so good... More

Second time here and food is reasonable. I like the different salsa's you can try for free. Didn't dislike anything.
