Having lived in England for a time, I am accustomed to authentic British food served up at the local pub. Some might say it is a comfort food of mine. The British Pantry gets it right - food and ambiance! My family goes at least every December for a warm cornish pasty, chips and gravy (an absolute must). It is... More

Always enjoyable to visit & browse, and they do NOT give anyone a hassle if one does NOT purchase. The selection is somewhat limited but it is definitely worthly of a visit if one is in Redmond WA

We visited for lunch and joined the line behind an elderly couple. We were completely ignored by staff despite tables being available. The elderly couple became exasperated at the complete lack of attention and left. After fifteen minutes we managed to catch the eye a member of staff who told us a table was being prepared. Ten minutes later and... More

If you can't be in England, this is the place to buy your real scones, your baps instead of hamburger buns, savory baked dinner items, and small pies and tarts. Also gifts.

The Pantry is nice as is the attached store, however, the attached Three Lion's Pub is the star attraction here. Several ales on tap including The Old Speckeled Hen...they pour a right proper pint.

I can't vouch for the other meals, but I'm a regular for tea; house tea, scone or crumpet, melon and grapes, Devonshire cream, cucumber sandwich and a little pastry (usually a Bakewell tart). Most of the waitresses are in their 60s and 70s, so the service is not particularly speedy, but it's a meal meant to be lingered over.

Okay, ex pats and lovers of good old English grub. This is the place to go, the tea room has a charm that is so English, tea cups with saucers, jam buttie's and steak and kidney pies. Everything to remind you of home, Yorkshire Pudding and Spotted Dick too. Next door you have the deli and store, Cadbury, Marmite, oval... More
