Better than most mega-buffet

We used to go to the Mandarin pretty often, but had stopped because the quality had fallen off. We went again in January and were pleasantly surprised. They had changed some of the dishes on the menu and the food was better. It's not the best Chinese food in the area, but it's worth a visit.

It is a typical Chinese buffet, like other Chinese buffets offering American style Chinese food. Food quality is fine although you should not expect it offers authentic Chinese dishes. This is not the business goal of this kind of restaurants. I have been there twice for lunches and was satisfied to the food. The variety of Sushi is better than... More

I'll preface this by saying that we are Chinese, so we do know what authentic Chinese food is. We had just arrived at Redmond, which our hotel was located, and we decided to look for a Chinese restaurant to eat at, and found this one. If you're looking for a authentic Chinese restaurant, don't come here. They offer a variety... More

this place is always very consistent ever since they opened approximately 5 years ago. There are several buffet tables to choose from. Sushi, Mongolian Grill, and large variety of items to choose from. You will not be disappointed. Lunch price is about $10 Monday thru Friday. Dinner and weekends are about $15. Well worth it!

Great pricing, I love the grill. The fresh fruits and salads are great. Dishes are savory. The sushi is grea.

I really like the salads- especially the seaweed salad, and the miso soup. I usually start off with that and some big shrimp with cocktail sauce. There's a ton of dishes to choose from. They also cook custom noodle dishes (ala Mongolian Grill). Well worth the $15 or so.

Large restaurant with high turnover of food and customers. Bulk Chinese food made by mostly non-Chinese cooks. Customers seem to be eating a lot and wasting a lot. Fine for a quick lunch. Lots of open parking in back but little open parking in front.

They have a wide selection, from sushi, dim sum and your normal Chinese bars. Quality is okay, just okay.

I was one of a group of 16 who came here for the lunch buffet. It has such a huge selection of items on the buffet - both western food with salad bar, sushi bar and mandarin food, and desserts. Everyone found lots to eat and enjoyed their food. It is such a great value for what you receive.

The restaurant wasn't particularly good or bad, but rather very plain - especially compared to other Chinese buffets. The food was okay, but not much choice, again compared to other Chinese buffet restaurants - limited choice and bland taste. It wasn't particularly clean either - by the chocolate fountain there were pieces of eaten strawberries, seems like people eat them... More
