My travel partner and I were so happy to have a place to eat in Quinault beside at the lodge. We ate there 2 out of the three nights. Our fist night, we were amazed at the presentation, quality and taste of the salmon dishes. Prepared 3 different options (we had all three during our trips) they all were absolutely... More

During our 2 day visit to the area we ate at Quinault Lodge, the I.C. in Amanda Park and the Salmon House. The Salmon House was by far the best experience of the three. The food was good with appropriate portions and a fair price. Jennifer, our server was super friendly and efficient. We wished there had been more vegetarian... More

Husband had steak-though it was okay. I had pan seared oysters. They were meh. I didn't care for the panko breading. The rice pilaf that came as a side tasted exactly like the wild rice pilaf out of a box. I would expect a bit more for the price. The view is pretty spectacular though. I can't argue about that.

My husband and I both had salmon entrees. The meals were fine. The restaurant was almost empty with the only people, for most of our meal, at a table being us. There were five or six people at the bar and the waitress spent most of her time at the bar. I think she was the only waitstaff so perhaps... More

Cozy dining room - and they know how to fix salmon. Friendly and efficient staff. Right on the Lake with excellent views.

I had broiled salmon and it was very well done. The vegetables on the side were good but just basic steamed carrots and beans. Dessert was a mistake though. I was really hoping someone in the kitchen had made homemade pie, but the berry pie was store bought with that fake berry goo and bad crust paired with cheap vanilla... More

We had really nice salmon and good drinks in the Salmon house. Make sure to be seated at a window to enjoy the Lake Quinault Vies. The restaurant itself is a bit cheerless. I think however it is the best option around the lake.

We had good salmon and the portions were generous. The side dishes (veg, rice) nothing to write home about, but the salmon was very well cooked, meaning not overdone, just perfect. There are several choices about how you want your salmon prepared. Restaurant is comfortable and not overly fancy. It is on the lake, which doesn't matter if it is... More

We had the salmon which was good and the chicken parmesan. Oddly that was served with rice instead of pasta. Still, tasted good. Sampled some local wine. Ended with tuxedo cake. Big piece and couldn't finish it. The wait staff were very sweet to include a glass of milk to wash it down.

In 65 years, this was the best salmon my wife ever tasted. The steak was also prepared well and was medium rare as ordered, though the tempura prawns were slightly greasy. The sunset was even more spectacular than last year and was toasted with an excellent Gris. Service was excellent. The RV park nearby was closed due to floods but the... More
