Best salmon that I didn't cook!

The Salmon House is only open for dinner, 4-9 pm so you know it's gonna be busy. Go there anyway, you won't be disappointed. Have your salmon broiled (we did), baked, blackened or choose something else from the menu ( why?) sit back, enjoy the lake view and your dinner.

Clam chowder was excellent, Salad fixings were fresh. Two small plate salads, a cup and a bowl of chowder, one billed as garlic parmesian bread- one glass wine- with tip $42.00. The parmesian bread was gooey and poor quality-like cheap pizza, but the decor, the service, the comfortable atmosphere was great.superb. it's approx one mile past Quinault Lodge

The salmon, any way it's cooked here, is definitely the featured dish and lives up to the restaurant's name. I ordered the dill salmon with baked potato and vegetables. The salmon was incredible, tender, smothered with a succulent, and creamy pesto-like consistency dill sauce. The baked potato a little overdone, served with a side of butter and dense sour cream.... My travel partner and I were so happy to have a place to eat in Quinault beside at the lodge. We ate there 2 out of the three nights. Our fist night, we were amazed at the presentation, quality and taste of the salmon dishes. Prepared 3 different options (we had all three during our trips) they all were absolutely... More

During our 2 day visit to the area we ate at Quinault Lodge, the I.C. in Amanda Park and the Salmon House. The Salmon House was by far the best experience of the three. The food was good with appropriate portions and a fair price. Jennifer, our server was super friendly and efficient. We wished there had been more vegetarian... More

Husband had steak-though it was okay. I had pan seared oysters. They were meh. I didn't care for the panko breading. The rice pilaf that came as a side tasted exactly like the wild rice pilaf out of a box. I would expect a bit more for the price. The view is pretty spectacular though. I can't argue about that.

My husband and I both had salmon entrees. The meals were fine. The restaurant was almost empty with the only people, for most of our meal, at a table being us. There were five or six people at the bar and the waitress spent most of her time at the bar. I think she was the only waitstaff so perhaps... More

I had broiled salmon and it was very well done. The vegetables on the side were good but just basic steamed carrots and beans. Dessert was a mistake though. I was really hoping someone in the kitchen had made homemade pie, but the berry pie was store bought with that fake berry goo and bad crust paired with cheap vanilla... More

We had really nice salmon and good drinks in the Salmon house. Make sure to be seated at a window to enjoy the Lake Quinault Vies. The restaurant itself is a bit cheerless. I think however it is the best option around the lake.
