Our service was great; not too talky and didn't hover! Good food but if dint like garlic, stay away from the appetizer fries!!

Good food and lots of beer choices! I enjoyed a "beer flight" of several ales along with my chicken dish - so much food that I took half of it home and finished it off the next day. Two caveats: parking is minimal (we were lucky and snagged a spot in the parking lot, but others mentioned walking a couple... More

We were in town for business and tried this on a recommendation. The food was spectacular and more like Mom's home cooking. We had the meatballs and home cooked chips for an appetizer. The meatballs were great with a little bit of a bite to them. I had the grilled cheese which came with tomato soup - both were extraordinary.... More

All different types mesh here. Several tables of senior citizens, blended with several groups of office professionals having lunch next to a construction crew sitting next to a gay couple with Black Sabbath music playing lightly in the background one minute then Jackson Browne playing the next. No targeted customer base here. Had the mahi mahi dish. Very good and... More

This place doesn't look like much on the inside -- but once you get inside, wow -- the place is hopping! One side of the establishment is a bar, and the other, tables to eat at -- but you're welcome to eat at the bar. That's what we did. We were waiting for a table, and were having such a... More

Went here after a business meeting as it was recommended by the locals. Had the Mahi Mahi which was very good and coworker had the steak which she said was the best steak she had ever eaten! Heard from locals later that we should have tried the artichoke which we will definetly do the next time in town. Had the... More

Our family searches out DDD establishments when we travel and this was one of the only family friendly DDD places in Tacoma. And this one pulled through wonderfully with both food and service. The atmosphere is really good. Tables were not packed too close together and the noise level was never an issue despite the full house. Our server was... More

This place had been around forever. Great fluffy donuts. EPIC donuts gives them a run for designer donuts.

I've eaten here a few times, and have enjoyed all of my selections. I keep going back for the chicken and waffles. They also have a great drink selection. It can become quite crowded at times, but if you have the time they make it worth the wait. Making reservations is advised for weekends if you tend to be inpatient.

Ate here for the first time today and it is worth the trip back again. Had a late lunch and shared a bowl of the Northwest Chowder and the BLT sandwich. Worth it! Great food and great service. Will be coming back again.
