Basilio's aims to be an above average Italian restaurant, but is more Fazoli's with better decor and beer. In all fairness, this is a college town and the place is likely crazy busy with students. The staff are fast and friendly. The restaurant has a nice view of the downtown. Not sure we will return.

I'm Italian, I was in Pullman for my semester abroad. I tried this restaurant and nothing is close to italian food!!! However I like the idea that in U.S.A there is spaghetti with meatballs cause it's really tipical of Italy of 1950 but all the rest it's not italian.

Ate here on a recent trip accompanying my daughter to a vet school interview at WSU. We got into town rather late, and were looking for a good Italian restaurant... but on a quick scan, this was the best we found. I was hoping for something of at least (say) Carraba's standard, but this place is really more of a... More

Pleasant staff and good average food. If you are just looking for a good lunch with undue delay. This is a nice spot. Salad with Italian dressing had good flavor. Spaghetti was dressed with a simple and straight forward marinara sauce. No real wine selection but good enough to accompany your basic meal.

Working out of town I found this place on the main street. High open cielings and big windows made this place an open airy place to enjoy a meal. I had a pizza which surprized me It was great ! The salads are fresh and cut small.Friendly service and prompt service. The restrooms are clean. I will be back.

Basilio's is a great place for a lunch meeting, especially during WSU spring break and after the Cougs lost in the PAC 12 BB tourney. Food was decent, appreciated the salad to go with the major carbs hit (hey, it's Italian), and, as always, sat close to a window to shake off the mid-winter/spring gray that is eastern WA. Meeting... I think that says it all, they don't actually cook there but open frozen soups, raviolis etc. The restaurant is of ten crowded so it seems like that is not a problem for most of their patrons but since I can get what they offer anywhere, I just don't see any reason to dine there.

That is most of the problem but it seemed a bit overpriced for what it is. Basilio's caters to a college crowd that has not yet discovered that pasta is not expensive to make yourself.

There isn't an item on the menu that I don't like. I started coming here years ago when I was working in Pullman. The creamy Basil dressing is fantastic. The service is always friendly and helpful. I just enjoying sitting and taking in the atmosphere; with the great food, I just close my eyes and think of a bistro I... More
