Fine Dining, Cozy Setting, Quaint Community

Great place for a romantic, cozy dinner. Great food and service. Good wine list and the desserts are to die for.

I thought it was very overpriced and the portions disappointingly small. I ordered the seared duck breast entree. For $22, I got four tiny slices, barely 3 oz. of meat, I'd guess. The orange creme sauce drizzled over the duck didn't quite work, and the sides were terrible. The smashed potatoes that came with it were heavy, lumpy, and visually... More

Just plain fantastic lunch on the patio with our pooch Norman. We enjoyed sandwiches and house salads. Whoever created the house salad is a GENIUS. I could not imagine the combination of ingredients together would work but WOW! The patio has been well thought out and when the newly planted hedges mature the space will become even more elegant. Our... More

I really like the atmosphere of the inside as well as the patio. The food was great. I showed up late and immediately got a drink and menu.

Well-prepared food & good service. Waitress was very knowledgeable and helpful. Shrimp & grits was a sure hit.

We sat at the bar & were served by a lovely lady who was helpful and friendly. The mussels were moist and flavorful as was their Kobe burger. Their dessert list is fabulous so we shared the carrot cake which was just the right amount of sweetness. Both of the wines I had; the Pinot Gris & Merlot complimented the... More

I had the turkey club, based on others' reviews, and they were right - it was delicious! The ciabatta bread was great and it comes with an excellent salad. I also had their daily special of fire roasted tomato soup, which was tasty. It was a beautiful day to take advantage of the spacious and pleasant outdoor patio so no... More

I used to have mixed experiences at the old Swilly's (great food but uneven service), but our first visit to the new location was the best ever. The food was better than ever and beautifully plated, the drinks were wonderful, and the server was prompt and pleasant. My only complaint is the booths inside - they look good but are... More

We had not eaten at the new location so we tried it last night. I don't often write restaurant reviews any more since I am vegan and I know others don't share my food tastes. However, I felt I needed to review Swilly's. I reviewed the menu online to see if there were some possibilities for a vegan meal and... More

I am very sad that we had a bad experience at Swilly's. The simple lunch we ordered took forever. The waitress forgot our drinks and the Caesar salad we ordered was 6 whole lettuce leaves with a chicken breast on top, that is it...no dressing, nothing else! And it took 45 minutes for this salad. My sandwich must have been... More
