Awesome food and ambiance

We are Pullman locals, and this is one of our favorite restaurants in town! The food is amazing, especially the carbonara. This place is a must go to. The short but complete menu covers all the bases for deliciousness. There seems to be a distinct nod towards a Greek palate (which I enjoy). The roasted chicken was moist and delicious. Their wine list is limited but seemed complete, you don't spend your time wandering through pages and pages of choices. I... More

Husband and I picked this restaurant off Trip Advisor during a short trip to Pullman. The food was imaginative and prepared well. Wine list was varied, and the by-the-bottle list looked very interesting with a nice mix of foreign and domestic. We'd go back in a heartbeat. Be ware, however that reservations likely are needed for Friday's and weekends.

I had heard good things about this restaurant so decided to take my wife there for her birthday. It was a Monday and I couldn't get the exact time for the reservation which surprised me. When we arrived it was obvious as to why. The place was extremely busy. We were seated immediately and that was just the beginning of... More

A+ across the board. High quality local ingredients, top notch service, and an owner and staff who truly prioritize customer service and the overall experience. Order the clams (& extra bread to dip in the sauce) and lamb chops. They won't disappoint. Great wine selection, handcrafted cocktails, and desserts to top it off. An absolute must - will be coming... More

Wonderful! I'm still swooning over this restaurant! We sat at the bar waiting for our table and I loved how the mixologist lovingly handcrafted each cocktail. Try the Milk and Honey or the Robert Burns. They put their house bacon on their Caesar salad, so good, we ordered a side of it. Try the olives as an appetizer. The beet,... More

This is an amazing find in Pullman. It is what I would expect from a large city. The food was excellent! I highly recommend the tofu with roasted vegetables and the carbonara.

We all agreed that every course was tasty. I especially loved the bread pudding with huckleberry ice cream. The ambience was comfortable and not too formal for Pullman. The servers were well-trained -- and they brought Mom a special dessert, with a candle, to celebrate her birthday. My only complaint is the acoustics -- it was difficult to carry on... More

Though they do not serve the best meals I've EVER had, I think you have to rate things based on local competition. I have not had a better meal in Pullman or Moscow (or Spokane, for that matter). Menu is simple, but what they do, they do well. Meat is always cooked to perfection. Their house bacon is a reason... More

Black Cypress is a great big aromatic room in downtown Pullman, with a Greek twist. It's ideal for the business traveler: moderately priced mains, good wine selection, and great ambience. If your lamb is ordered medium rare, it's the best item on the menu.
