Visited this place for lunch, expecting the usually good food produced here. Was disappointed as the tomato soup was an inelegant, tasteless, blob, so thickened with cornstarch that even the addition of Cougar Gold cheese was unable to save this dish. It was left in the bowl, barely tasted. The vegetarian flat bread sandwich is outstanding. The French onion soup... More

We brought a first time visitor to Pullman to enjoy the views of the Palouse. Unfortunately the views were the best part of the visit. Ordered wine with dinner but server was "challenged" by task of opening the bottle. Got it open finally and then failed miserable on the basics of the taste and pouring the glasses--it was like he... The restaurant is on the golf course, and the view of the rolling hills is gorgeous, and that's what makes it so pleasant to enjoy a meal there. The food, unfortunately, is not high quality but just okay, so it's a great place to have lunch with colleagues or a dinner with a sweetheart. I recommend it for a casual... More

Brunch was terrible! Pre made desserts, and breads. Had to find someone to make omelets at omelet counter, it was raw when it came back with no apologies and an attitude! Food quality control policies were not followed, recently heated food was added to the buffet on top of food which had been already out, mayonase and egg salads were... More

I attended my high school reunion in Pullman this summer and we had brunch at Banyon's. It was a beautiful day and we sat on the patio. The service was great and the food was good. They only service brunch but you have a choice of everything from omelettes, French toast, Eggs Benedict, fruit, desserts, juice and cereal. You won'... More

Very nice setting for lunch with a small group. We were able to sit on the patio. I ordered the St. Croix salad. it was fresh and fairly good, but nothing to rave about. Average portion (which was fine) and the service was pretty fast. No bread was offered, and there was a lot more lettuce than toppings (although someone... More

We stopped for a night of great steaks and received four of the most grossly pieces of garbage for $26 a pop. Stay away unless your looking for ok salads. Too top things off the beer selection sucked, no IPAs or Wheat beers in house .

A nice building and a good view combined with good service should also have fine food. Unfortunately the kitchen at Banyans needs some cooking help. My food was just ok it was not bad but it was not inspired and the others at our table thought the same. For the prices that are charged I guess it was to pay... More

The view at Banyan's is the best in the area. If you're there on a beautiful evening, aim for an outdoor table overlooking the rolling green hills of the Palouse - gorgeous! I enjoyed their salmon very much - a large and delicious portion served with rice pilaf and assorted veggies, also tasty. I've been there several times in the... More

My husband and I were in Pullman for a family wedding, which occurred the day before his birthday. I took advantage of the fact that all of his siblings and most of their families were in one place and booked a brunch reservation at Banyan's. They set us up on the patio and took excellent care of us. Everyone had... More
