We ate here for Valentine's Day and sat at the bar so we could watch the chef cook. It was a fun experience, and the food was incredible: cooked perfectly and extremely flavorful. The prices are on the high end, but well worth it for a special occasion.

We have been to the Mojave Restaurant twice now, and it makes a great way to end a day of wine-tasting in the Prosser/Yakima Valley area. The décor is Southwest-themed and imaginative and the food is upscale and delicious. The restaurant is part of the Desert Wind Winery and Inn and the wine list therefore features a large selection of... More

The Mojave at Desert Wind features Southwestern inspired cuisine with a unique Northwest twist. On a recent visit my wife and I were treated to a Buffalo Bleu Burger w/ a Caesar salad (my wife), and I had the Mojave Blackened Airline chicken breast. Both accompanied by appropriate wines. Our chocolate spice bread pudding put the finishing touch on a... More

Today we decided to check out the local wineries in Prosser. We had a great time but the best experience was lunch at the Mojave. My husband had a grilled chicken croissant, perfectly cooked and I ate a scrumptious buffalo burger with aged blue cheese. Both of us had the grilled romaine salad with cumin aioli that was simply delicious.... More

Four of us recently had dinner here. It is a warehouse type building in the Desert Wind winery. It's done in a Southwest decor and the menu leans toward American with some SW influences. Two of us started with a spicy poblano bisque. It was delicious. Two others split a salad (at their suggestion). It was enjoyed as well. Two... More

We visited Mojave on a weeknight recently and without a reservation, though we hear they are suggested for weekends. The restaurant was cool and inviting on a hot summer evening, and we were seated right away. Both of us had the steak served atop a deliciously seasoned fine polenta and summer veg, which included pattypan squash. The presentation was lovely,... More

After getting bored of local restaurants, my buddy and I decided to drive to Prosser. The drive in summer is quite nice in itself. Mojave at Desert Wind winery was a pleasant surprise. We went back a second time and found everything great again. If you get Maddie as your waitress you'll be surprised and delighted. The food is excellent... More

Brought another car club here for lunch. When I initially contacted Christine, the chef, I learned they were closed on Tuesdays. She offered to open just for us. They prepared a special pasta I had before for our group of 36. Was excellent as was salad and the huckleberry tarts. Nice setting as well. Attentive servers. Thank Christine.

For the price not worth it. We had the steak. Very little sides with the steak. We had a large party. 4 of us had the steak. It wasn't very warm for any of us. I wish I could recommend this restaurant but I can't. We spent a lot of money for a poor meal.

We were familiar with Desert Wind wines as we have purchased them in the Duck Pond tasting room in Oregon, so the winery was on our list for tasting. We noticed that they had a restaurant and decided to make it our lunch destination. We were extremely happy that we did. It was asparagus season in the Yakima valley and... More
