JJs - please find the missing link

Slow and slower in attendance here today. The kids made good use of JJs crayons, grazed on bread brought out. Drinks come quick, beer is cold. All were satisfied with appetizers : calamari, onion rings, crab cakes. Loooong wait to get main course served. Wait staff appeared to be leaning on... read more

We have liked this restaurant in the past and have eaten and enjoyed the food. Its in a great location in downtown Poulsbo and an easy and convenient stop for a quick lunch of seafood. However, along with most recent reviews, we were terribly disappointed with the attitude of the owner and staff. The restaurant was moderately busy when we... More

I'm not sure what's happened to this restaurant. We've eaten here many times in the last 6 month, and generally had good service and food. Today was a different story. The only reason we went here today was that I was craving salmon. We ordered, and then the waitress, Tammie, came back to say they are out of salmon. (And... More

The quality of the food was fine but it took way too long to receive it. Staff was friendly. I'm just perplexed as to why a restaurant which seems to be frequently busy, wouldn't know how to deal with the crowd more efficiently to get the food out faster.

I really enjoyed the food here. I had the pesto chicken sandwich with no cheese and absolutely loved the flavors! The fries were good also. My husband tried a mug of clam chowder and loved it! He wished he had gotten a bowl. He also had the JJ's classic burger which he said was good but got a little soggy... More

Four of us were seated for a weekday lunch by a very friendly hostess. After we ordered, we waited an hour for the food to arrive. 35 minutes into the wait, the hostess told us our lunch was coming "very soon." She then went into the kitchen area and began directing the cooks. We never saw her again as she... More

Service is non existent, and owner less than gracious (seemed intoxicated). Not a good choice. Such a shame, as the proximity is so close to the marinas when coming in from the water. Luckily there are considerably good choices close by.

We had a large group, I called the day before and reserved a table. When we got there the table was ready and we were in for a treat! We ordered several entrees and loved sampling them all. We all ordered something different and NO ONE was disappointed. The Cod was hot and very good size pieces, the halibut was... More

Got to say overall I was disappointed with this restaurant. Group of about a dozen of us had dinner there mid-week in July and it took forever to order and forever to get food and then waitress put all on one check and then took over 25 minutes to translate into individual checks. I found place to be rather drab... More

Chowder was OK. Ceaser salad was good. Calamari was a joke. 12 peices of calamari. $10 for 50 cents worth of bait coated in heavy batter. Horrible Calamari. Service was great.
