Everything looked so good it was hard to make a decision. I finally settled on an apple fritter. Mmmmm! Fresh and delicious. Friendly staff too.

The choices at this bakery are too many and all of the ones we tried were good. This is not light pastry but very rich.

Sluy's Bakery has been around for decades. They produce a huge amount of baked goods, and open very early in the morning. The store is busy and has a strong local following. The pastries and donuts are good, but not exceptional. They have a good assortment of cookies, breads, and munchies. The place is staple of old town Poulsbo. It's... More

I've been to Sluy's several times and each time I go, I try something new and it's always delicious. Their Viking cups are amazing and this time I decided to try their maple bars and it was delicious. I also tried a cherry coconut pastry that was really good. If you are in the area, it's worth a stop and... More

Hadn't been here for many years, so we ordered several things. The Apple Fritter may be the best I have had, and the Swiss fruit pastry was great, too. We're making the drive from Seattle again soon!

Fantastic little bakery with an extensive selection of delicious treats! Our favorites are the giant Doughboys and the cherry strudel. Probably a good thing for my waistline that we don't live close enough to make this an everyday stop. Can't recommend highly enough!

I had the walnut apple cinnamon roll with cream cheese frosting. It was heaven! I had been saving the calories for this special event, and it was so good, I kept the taste memory for at least 2 days afterwards. The smell upon entering the bakery is unbelievable. Definitely a memory making experience.

We got a sampler of pastries, donuts and cookies. They were fresh, clearly made with care, and importantly to us, very affordable! We loved the maple donuts and the eclairs.

This was probably the best bakery I ever went to!! Only one problem - what to buy! Went in to buy a cinnamon bun and came out with five other items. All excellent! Enjoyed every crumb. Would not miss this place if we ever go back to Paulsbo.
