If you are anywhere neat Poulsbo, stop at Sluys for a doughboy (In maple glaze or plain), plus anything else that catches your eye (it will be delicious). A wonderful old-fashion bakery, not the chemical, additive, preservative laden baked goods found nearly every place else. So best enjoyed fresh! The lines are always long, but worth the wait!

We live in Poulsbo and everyone wants to go here when they visit. We feel it is overpriced. The pastries are really average. If you don't get there in the morning, they seem to be a little dry in taste by the afternoon. The good thing is, they have excellent lefse!

Great baked goods....lots of decorated sugar cookies! This is a popular place. Standing in line is worth it!

You'll find all kinds of cookies, eclairs, donuts and muffins that you won't find elsewhere. They always have a great window display too. They stay open late which is awesome!!

When in Poulsbo it is a must stop bakery shop! Everything they serve is fresh and good! What more can you ask for???? My favorites are the doughnuts and plain croissants.

Everything here is a treat. It's an old style bakery with all the usual products prepared soooo well. People are nice. I don't really know how prices compare. The good is so good you won't care.

I would have passed this gem by but my date and Tripadvisor recommended it highly. He got a Cream cheese Danish and I was mesmerized by the variety of cookies. I ended up with an assortment of original sounding cookies. I wish I remembered the names, but ALL were fresh and delicious. If you like imaginative and exquisitely crafted cookies,... More

Viking donuts. VIKING donuts. There's a reason that when students are late and have to bring in donuts, that we want them to go to Sluy's. And besides the donuts, they sell really good breads, and great cheesy rolls. And these potato based tortilla like things. And cookies. Don't go here if you're prone to giving in to temptation. You'll... More

They have wonderful donuts...the apple fritters are to die for. the smiley face cookies are OK but are a huge hit with locals and tourists. For the holidays, the stollen is perfection.
