Their german potato salad, red cabbage, and jaegerschnitzel is always a great choice. They also have Italian and a few other European countries food options. Nice selection of beers too!

Went here with a large group, which they did an excellent job accommodating. Menu with incredible variety of European dishes. Everyone seemed pleased with their meals- I sure enjoyed mine! Full bar with beer, wine, and cocktails.

What a great local place - very Euro style and simple, reminded me of my grandmother, who was 100% German. We stopped in for a beer because it was the only place that was open and the bartender was really friendly. Great little restaurant area, nostalgic. Sorry we didn't get a chance to eat but could tell the locals really... More

Give words of comfort to others because life is hard. But shout it in German because life is also confusing and terrifying. The food is great, and schnitzel, as several others keep saying, is very well done. You do have to make sure you don't miss the place because the entryway is tucked off in an alley then you go... Schnitzels are not easy to do well, but we had four excellent ones last night. Two of my guests were from Vienna, home of the wienerschnitzel, and they were well pleased. If all the food is as good you can't go wrong. The beer selection was excellent too. But surely a self-described "Europub" should have some cozier ambience, instead of... More

I have been to Tisley's several times over the years. It is by no means a fancy smancy restaurant, but if you are looking for a rustic, down to earth, home-style restaurant, Tisley's is it. I often go to listen to the Scottish band that practices there once a month with their small bag pipes, fiddles and guitars. There are... More

We've been regulars for several years. The schnitzel, spetzel, and sausage are as good as anywhere and the beers are great. Eat out on the balcony during the summer and watch everyone roaming the downtown. Perfect place to watch the Vikingfest parade.

We were able to sit outside on the balcony. What a great view of the strip. My Chicken Goulash was great, and the sweedish meatballs was ad well. Our server was friendly and helpful. Only con was it took awhile to get our wine. Other wise was great. Will be going back!

W had a lunchtime stop here. Ordered two salads - the roasted beet and the cucumber. The beet salad had four pieces of beet with a mound of lettuce to justify the price. It had so much cucumber on it that we thought they had brought us two cucumber salads by mistake. The cucumber, thickly sliced, was of the variety... More

If you can make it up the stairs and love German food, you will enjoy Tizleys. The beer is good too, but try not to go on beer night unless you are part of it as you will have to eat at the bar.
