Amazing food...too pricey and loud

We went on a busy Sat night, and it was so loud we could not hear ourselves having a conversation. I look for a little ambiance. Busy nights will not provide it. Definitely overpriced, and service was slow. HOWEVER, I had the meatless pan lasagna special that was out of this world phenomenal!! It... read more

I remember Poulsbo as a sleepy little town when we lived in Kitsap County 33 years ago. This last weekend we were staying overnight on our boat. We wandered up to Front Street to look around. Sluy's Bakery was still there (amazing!) but just west of the bakery we spotted an interesting restaurant called the "Burrata Bistro." It was a... More

Don't miss this wonderful dining experience! We saw he reviews on Travel Advisor, as well as other sites and we absolutely had to see if it lived up to its ratings. It really did. We are extremely critical of food in most restaurants, but everything we had was really good with great flavors. Chef really knows how to please.

If you want a simple meal or appetizer this place has a lot of options. I had the Smoked Paprika Rubbed Beef Tenderloin Crostini & Aioli. It was properly cooked and not over seasoned. The salad lightly oil dressed. Appetizer portions can add up if you are hungry, but great for taking the edge off.

Spent some time with family in Port Ludlow, and opted to drive into Poulsbo to grab early dinner. Not much in between two cities. Didn't make reservation, but showed up not long after opening at 4:30 pm on Sunday, and got seated right away. Place is small and intimate - nice for special occasion or for romantic meal. Booths are... More

Happy hour served wonderful appetizers and big wine pours. Everything was delicious. This is a great place for friends or a date night. Glassy babies on the table add to the joy.

We went on a very hot day to this restaurant. We had read that they didn't have air conditioning and considered going to another restaurant instead, but had read that the food was great. So, we took a chance and loved it. The staff did their best to cool the restaurant down with many electric fans. They even placed individual... More

This is our go to place for a special meal. We recommend it to friends and family and they are never disappointed. The only problem is the AC or lack of it in high Summer but the food and wine and ambience makes up for it. I know it's a deal breaker for some so if you're hyper sensitive to... More

We decided to change things up a little and try a different Italian restaurant instead of our usual place, and now we have a new usual! A small but very inviting place with charm and ambiance to spare. Plenty of seating choices from tables, booths, window seating and a couple of small bistro tables out front for nice weather. A... A small restaurant in a terrific downtown spot. We had dinner and then enjoyed desert (try the flan!). The menu selections were terrific and it was hard to make a choice. The food was excellent and the waiter super friendly. We will definitely go back!
