Very. Interesting menu. The Paella was delicious as was the prawn tomato bisque. Service is very good.

Wonderful wait staff, a pleasing atmosphere. Enjoyed oysters on the half shell here that were so fresh I think they picked them up from the beach directly and set them to table. They offer a delectable menu with a French flair, and some of the most innovative cocktails I've seen.

I live in Port Townsend and eat here often. The food is so delicious. Try the French onion soup and the croque monsieur, two of my favorites. Our social group is eating there today!!

We were in town as an inpromptu Valentine's Day get away. We had no reservations and found it difficult to find a place for dinner. We wondered into the Bar at Alchemy and found 2 seats at the bar and they allowed us to order the Valentine's Day dinner from there with wine pairings! What a wonderful experience and friendly... My daughter and I dined here after a recommendation from our B&B. We were seated quickly by server #1 on a Friday night with no reservation, but this was February. Water was served and then several minutes passed when server #2 asked if we had questions (we did, plus I have a wine allergy, so I wanted to ask about... More

Visited for a late lunch. Liked the place and people, food and drinks (wine and beer were both amazing) so much that we came back and had dinner. Equally amazing. Love the place, and will return, despite several other interesting places in town we want to visit.

I've copied a letter that I sent to the owner/manager of Alchemy Bistro over 6 weeks ago and have not gotten a response. Because they didn't take the time to respond, I am finally reviewing my most recent experience there via the info in the letter: ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Dear Alchemy Bistro, We had a reservation for dinner with you. We went... More

I had dinner with a friend at the Alchemy Bistro the other night. I ordered their lamb shank. It's a dish that I typically usually enjoy. This one did not fulfill my expectations. There was absolutely nothing wrong with it, and the portion was incredibly large. However, the spices and flavors were just a little off for me. If I... More

Enjoyed a wine flight and appetizers in their bar. It was a nice end to the day before dinner. Could talk and relax. Glad we stumbled across it!
