Locall favorite and not so full of tourists

Fresh ingredients and fresh seafood. My husband said his pasta dish was just ok. Good wine selection.

We were lucky this restaurant was open on Mondays. We are big fans of Cassoulet and they make theirs from scratch, including the duck confit. It was superb. The place was packed and it was apparently because the guitarist plays on Mondays. He was a treat. We are not always happy to have someone playing, but his was perfect:very gentle... More

Had one great meal at Alchemy about a year ago. Fine Dining: I don't think so! After this one good meal my partner and I went back to the 'special' Valentines Dinner and were shocked by how far this Bistro had fallen. People packed in like sardines, overcooked food that took an hour to see light of day. Far more... More

We had lunch here and enjoyed it very much. I had the French rabbit stew on a baguette. Very tasty and you don't see that on a menu very often! We ate inside although they have a charming patio, too. Decor was European and attractive--typical bistro style.

We have eaten at this restaurant many times and have always had a good experience in terms of food and service. We recently ate lunch there for the first time and thought it was as good as dining there for dinner. I had the Nicoise Salad. The combination and variety of flavors was wonderful. The ingredients always seem very fresh... More

The other reviews tell it all! I can't find any new superlatives! (But I'll try). We arrived on Friday night, at 7, and the service was very slow starting, luckily we weren't in a rush, only hungry. However, the service , food and drink all accelerated to a gastronomic climax. The Cassoulet is worth the visit all in itself. Portions... More

Attentive and knowledgable wait staff, excellent wine list, fun and inventive menu. My sister's tenderloin was perfect as was my rabbit. And the vegetables have inspired me to cook with butter again! yummmmmm

Sweet place to eat outside in summer. There were three of us - I had the Croque Monsieur ($14) while my husband had the Croque Madame ($14). The Madame is made with an egg sunny side up. Both sandwiches were made in the traditional manner with homemade bread, generous portions of ham and cheese. We actually could have shared one... More

Excellent service from a well versed wait person who actually had a good knowledge of the entire menu. he service was matched by excellent food and some good wines. In the bar the staff were equally courteous and knowledgeable as well as being attentive without being overbearing

I had a fantastic Cassoulet and flight of white wines, both or which are rarity. You will have a fantastic meal for sure.
