My husband and I have eaten at Lanza's literally dozens of times by now. We can count on the food to always be served cooked to order, fresh and clean-tasting, and served with a big smile. The items I've tried include my favorite, chicken piccata, plated with generous portions of fork-tender, juicy chicken breast and a lively lemon-caper sauce that... More

First time I ate here I swore I would never go back, but foolishly I did and it was no better. This restaurant is the epitome of America's misconception of what an Italian restaurant should be like. Plates of pasta swimming in far too much sauce, most of it of the thin, sweet tomato variety. Dress it all up in... More

I must defend this review. It seems like you sat down on your computer and wrote the bulk of your reviews. You visited our restaurant in March, and now we are getting this in October? Each dish is made to order and if I could guess, the only thin sweet sauce is our chicken marsala. Most dishes made with the... More

This is one of the prettiest and most charming rooms in the local restaurant scene -- and that is saying something in this region of "foodie" heaven. The decor and lighting are romantic and intimate, and the menu, though limited, offers most of the classics. My husband and I shared two nice pastas and salads and enjoyed our dinner before... More

We took out of town family to Lanza's and we all raved about it. The food was fresh and delicious. The portions were generous. The price was reasonable. The service was great. I have to go back again, because the Chicken Bolognese my nephew ordered was so delicious I want to have that. The restaurant was really busy, we were... More

Had not eaten there in a while. The menu was smaller but had many of the good items on it. They stopped giving an antipasto plate for an appetizer free with the meal. The food was good and certainly nicely presented.

The place is nice - nice colors, nice smells, nice wine list and nice menu. Food tasted good too. My wife had a chicken dish, I had shrimp. Price was ok - about typical of Seattle prices (which seems a bit expensive for Pt. Townsend). The service was the worst. I mean bad! The service started out great, but once... More

We had some of the best warm garlic rolls I've ever tasted and outstanding minestrone, followed by delicious pasta meals and lemon cheesecake. The setting is appealing and the service friendly and efficient. We were happy that our Ravenscroft owner Dave highly recommended Lanza's.

We've eaten at Lanza's often - this time we were there for the Calabrian Salad and Pizza. As usual, the service was impeccable, the atmosphere warm and welcoming and the food excellent. THe not too thin pizza crust was perfect, slightly crunchy but chewed, the cheese and the add ons (kalamata olives, fresh tomatoes, and peppers) were perfect. The Calabrian... More

We had supper here on a cold, windy weekday in April and the food and atmosphere warmed us immediately. The staff was friendly and helpful. Though it was a Thursday evening, the restaurant filled quickly. We were glad we got in without a reservation.

The ambience at Lanzas is simple old fashioned Italian minus the plastic grapes and Chianti bottles with candles. There is a piano player and the service is good. The food, however is average in every way. I had spaghetti with meat balls. The tomato sauce was acidic and the meat balls were best described as meat by-product balls. The salad... More
