We had some of the best warm garlic rolls I've ever tasted and outstanding minestrone, followed by delicious pasta meals and lemon cheesecake. The setting is appealing and the service friendly and efficient. We were happy that our Ravenscroft owner Dave highly recommended Lanza's.

We've eaten at Lanza's often - this time we were there for the Calabrian Salad and Pizza. As usual, the service was impeccable, the atmosphere warm and welcoming and the food excellent. THe not too thin pizza crust was perfect, slightly crunchy but chewed, the cheese and the add ons (kalamata olives, fresh tomatoes, and peppers) were perfect. The Calabrian... More

We had supper here on a cold, windy weekday in April and the food and atmosphere warmed us immediately. The staff was friendly and helpful. Though it was a Thursday evening, the restaurant filled quickly. We were glad we got in without a reservation.

The ambience at Lanzas is simple old fashioned Italian minus the plastic grapes and Chianti bottles with candles. There is a piano player and the service is good. The food, however is average in every way. I had spaghetti with meat balls. The tomato sauce was acidic and the meat balls were best described as meat by-product balls. The salad... More

This family-owned restaurant's ambience is classic old-style Italian - walls painted red, lots of candlelight, family photos on the walls - so quite charming. There was even live piano music. That said, the food left a lot to be desired. The salad - which is included with the entrée - was good with fresh crispy veggies and a nice dressing.... More

This Italian family does a great job with real Italian food. I love the feel of this place, and people frequent this place for all kinds of occasions. The pizzas are great for take-out too.

I find Lanza's difficult to review because there was a lot that we liked and a lot that we didn't. We arrived with 7:15 reservations and had to wait for 30 minutes to get our table. There was another couple who arrived after us and went through the same ordeal. However, the manager was very apologetic and friendly. He even... More

We dined here tonight (2/15/14) and everything was outstanding. The interior was beautiful and the service was helpful, friendly and prompt. I started with the tasty minestrone and husband had the house salad. I had a craving for spaghetti and meatballs and this dish was everything I wanted and more. OMG!! Husband had the pasta Bella and he loved it.... More

very disappointed, does not even acknowledge us that we were there, and I wish that the irregular customer should be treated the same way as they treated the regular customer.

Dear Ms. Eloisa, I deeply regret your feeling about our restaurant. You had called earlier in the week to make a reservation for Valentines day and you were put on a waiting list. After a persistent call, and not having any extra room, I reluctantly took your reservation. I deeply regret this decision. I had cautioned you that it was... More

You know as soon as you enter the restaurant that it's going to be delicious. And the food will not disappoint. Everything from the wood fired pizza, the simple angel hair with basil, olive oil and fresh tomatoes, to the rich lasagna is wonderful. The restaurant is small and intimate, the acoustics are good.
