My husband and I stopped here after seeing the high quality of reviews and we were so glad we did. I had the penne pasta with cream sauce, almond slivers, and chicken. The bread served us was a nice crust with a soft center and avocado butter to go with it. My husband had a delicious turkey sandwich that was... More

We stopped by for dinner after watching a movie. The restaurant has a intriguing atmosphere when you enter. It is very small. The staff was helpful and fairly responsive. We thought the pricing was reasonable. The dishes were plated beautifully. The servings were substantial. I had the Angel hair shrimp dish and my friend had the Moroccan chicken. My dish... More

We ate at The Fountain on April 4th 2015. This was supposed to be a highly rated restaurant. It is resting on its past laurels as our experience was a huge disappointment. The food was dull and was poorly plated. The breaded oysters were mostly made up of a thick hard shell of deep fried breaded coating. The sole special... More

The other reviews are mostly gushing about his place, and I agree. It was one of two favorite restaurants recommended by the host at our Bed and Breakfast. He said some people make a special trip to Port Townsend just to eat there, and I can understand that after eating there ourselves. The service was fast, friendly and attentive. Our... More

Me and my husband travel a lot and look for quiet tucked away little places like this. The atmosphere was nice although it is a very small place and we felt a little crowded. The service was great and fairly quick which was nice and the beer was cold. We were pretty disappointed in the food. The portions were small... More

We live just down the road but had heard good things about the Fountain...so we went tonight. It was the best meal we have had in years. A tiny place with great service and a nice selection of wines. My husband had the paella and I had the cioppino....both outstanding. Have been to Paris several times over the years and... More

Convenient downtown location off the Main Street seems tucked into the hillside. Half the tables seat 2 but probably not much more than a dozen tables total. This Monday evening they had about 4 full tables when we walked in without reservations. Wine is the beverage of choice here. Beers are bottled not draft. We both had a pasta and... More

This little cafe was a great find in Port-T. I enjoyed a tasty lamb burger, grilled to perfection, and a cup of lentil soup. My friend had a bowl of soup and a salad. All the food was fresh and delicious. The energy in the cafe is clear and good. It's a funky, small cafe and filled up fast for... More

Guiness pie and corned beef and cabbage NEVER tasted this good before!! Son burned his tongue and said he would gladly burn it again on that pie! Excellent Thai tomato soup. Gluten free bread on the sandwich too. Really enjoyed the experience. Too bad I live in Ga.
