After visiting the Far Reaches nursery in PT, we were hungry. We stopped at this cafe and negated our hunger. I ate 2 piece fish and chips, and it was absolutely wonderful. They use the type of breading I dearly love, and is among the most tasty I've ever eaten. My wife ordered the Reuben sandwich. We must say, it... More

We chanced on the cafe and were very happy with our food, service, and the friendliness of the staff. Each of us picked a different entree, and none of us was disappointed. We'd definitely eat there again if in the area, and will recommend it highly to friends!

We had made reservations at the Silverwater Cafe for a Saturday evening at 7:30 p.m. We arrived on time and were told that tables were turning over more slowly than usual, that no tables were available, and that if we wanted a table on the main level (we did, since the upstairs is very claustrophobic) to come back in 20... This is the first time I have responded to a review, but I feel it necessary to stand up for my crew. On the night that this visit took place, we lost our bartender 5 minutes before opening. My host graciously stepped behind the bar to bartend, which he had not done here before. My 16 year old busser graciously... More

We dropped in w/o a reservation early on a Saturday evening and ended up with a fine memory of our visit to Port Townsend. Our server said the place had been operating for 22 years, so it's clearly doing something right to capture repeat traffic from locals as well as from tourists like us. The room is a pleasurable place... More

I've been here many times. Most recently, we went with out of town guests who spend a great deal of time in Manhattan and other places around the world. Needless to say, they have eaten at many fine restaurants. They loved the Silverwater Café. Our dinners were all terrific. We had two bottles of wine. The manager was quite knowledgeable... More

One of our favorite go-to's in Port T! The fish and chips are very fine; the artichoke pate is terrific. Salads and soups are excellent. This is a pretty room, right in the heart of town. We are true fans and eat here several times a month.

We like this place. Expensive but nice. It was a busy evening in Port Townsend. We decided to splurge. I splurged big time on $34 filet. Salad extra. (It was good. ) My filet arrived luke warm and seriously undercooked. The dog will enjoy it, even though it is stringy. Our friends said the fish tacos were the worst they... More

This restaurant, in a beautiful old building, has a menu full of fresh, locally-sourced, delicious food with several meatless options. We had dined here a while ago and found it rather expensive, but on our recent visit we found several very affordable dishes. We chose the three-course "before the show" dinner (the restaurant is adjacent to the Rose Theatre) at... More

We came into the Mezzaluna Lounge to enjoy some cocktails & appetizers. It has a separate entrance from the Silverwater Cafe but is part of it. Our appetizers were all delicious, though I will note they don't offer any happy hour specials on drinks or appies & their prices are not inexpensive. The portions were a good size, though &...
