We received a tip earlier in the day. A few were mentioned but Silver Water stood out. My Salmon was caught local and fresh! Typically I need some type of garnish for fish but this Salmon had great taste and juicy flavor. Service was great and wonderful coffee to boot. We will be back!

This is our favorite place to eat when in Port Townsand. They offer such a delicious variety of food. It is always hard to make decisions.

Silverwater is a Port Townsend stalwart. The food is good, somewhat pricey, and service can be spotty. The Mezaluna Lounge on the second floor is pleasant. It's a convenient stop after a movie at the Rose Theater next door.

Went there based on a friends suggestion. Started off bad and got worse. It took about 15 minutes before our server appeared to take our drink order. We ordered a variety of dishes and all were served cold...... even the fish and chips! I think that our bad experience was mostly due to the terrible server.

We had a recommendation from a friend for the Silverwater Cafe and we were not disappointed. My husband had a bowl of clam chowder which was tasty and served with oyster crackers and small slices of bread with herb butter. I had 1/2 a crab/shrimp melt sandwich and a cup of pea soup with nicely flavored herbal ice tea. All... More

Enter on the upper level and you are in the Mezzaluna Lounge; enter on Taylor street and you are in the Silverwater Cafe. I enter on the top level where Ray serves top notch drinks. How relaxing it is to sink into one of the over-stuffed chairs for a glass of wine and a meal. It’s Port Townsend, so casual.... More

Food was good seafood but pricey. Waitress seemed stressed. We expected better, based on reviews. Its not bad, just average for expensive food, and suffers in comparison to many similar places we visited on this trip.

The Silverwater used to be our favorite dining experience in Port Townsend, but it seems to be slipping. Nice atmosphere, just OK food this summer. Menu straightforward, not that interesting. Fish and chips were good. Caesar salad overdressed, swimming in liquid. Fried local oysters were plentiful and meaty. Service was distracted. A nice meal, but not great.

Called to make a reservation; got a voicemail which said to leave date, time & number in party of reservation requested; if there was an issue they would call. Well, no one every listened to the recording. Should have taken that as a sign to walk away... The salmon was strangely flavored & overcooked. The fried oysters were BAD!!! When... More

Six local ladies celebrated in style last evening. The staff was wonderful. Drinks and dinner were great. The staff also served up the special cake we brought. We all felt very pampered. The seafood was tasty, especially the theatre special piccata. Thanks, Silverwater.
