We like this place. Expensive but nice. It was a busy evening in Port Townsend. We decided to splurge. I splurged big time on $34 filet. Salad extra. (It was good. ) My filet arrived luke warm and seriously undercooked. The dog will enjoy it, even though it is stringy. Our friends said the fish... read more

This restaurant, in a beautiful old building, has a menu full of fresh, locally-sourced, delicious food with several meatless options. We had dined here a while ago and found it rather expensive, but on our recent visit we found several very affordable dishes. We chose the three-course "before the show" dinner (the restaurant is adjacent to the Rose Theatre) at... More

We came into the Mezzaluna Lounge to enjoy some cocktails & appetizers. It has a separate entrance from the Silverwater Cafe but is part of it. Our appetizers were all delicious, though I will note they don't offer any happy hour specials on drinks or appies & their prices are not inexpensive. The portions were a good size, though &... We were seated right away, at the table we asked for. The crab cakes were the best we've ever tasted! I had a Vesper with the appetizer--a different little twist on this favorite, and very refreshing. I had the rack of lamb--6 ribs, succulent and seasoned with a very tasty rub. My partner had the halibut with hazelnut sauce--a divine... More

We always take out of town guests to Silverwater because we know it will be supurb. We like to sit on the cozy mezzanine where we can often find seating for 6 or more. The wait staff is friendly and patient, even when visiting grandchildren are in "active" mode. The daily specials are unique and often paired with wonderful WA... More

We were looking for an upscale place for dinner and found it at the Silverwater Cafe. Very nice menu modestly priced and well presented. We will return again.

We came to this place twice; the first time for late drinks and appetizers, and the second time for a full dinner. Both times, the service was excellent, the food very good, and the atmosphere very enjoyable. The steaks and lamb were well prepared, and tasty. Pricing was good for the quality. We would definitely come back.

Service was very good however the restaurant ran out of a number of their main servings. Overall food reviews were mixed compared to last years group dinner.

Silverwater Cafe used to be one of our favorites, and we went there many times. I hesitated to post a long-term review, but after several meals of "misses", it's time. It's not horrible, just not worth the money anymore. Several times I got an entree or side dish that was cool or even cold. Another time the burger arrived on... More

My wife and I had stayed in Port Townsend 3 1/2 years ago and this restaurant was recommended to us by our host. We looked at Trip advisor for a restaurant and the #1 was in fact a baker who comes to the Farmers Market and sells bread on Saturdays during the season. After looking for a restaurant on the...
