DO IT ONCE!

This should be on the agenda for at least one visit when in Port Townsend. We decided to enjoy the upper end of the menu and paid a little more for the excellent food and outstanding service, but it was worth it. We reserved a table (early dinner might work on same day) out on the balcony with a... read more

Water front view, excellent seafood, excellent service. There is a wide range of appetizers, and always a great selection of seafood sourced from our local purveyor Key City Fish in the port. There is a deck outside for dining, but only has about 5 or 6 tables, so there is some competition for the best spots. And the wine list... More

We were very disappointed in the food. The service was good, but the food was tasteless. I had to add salt which I never do to my food. I had noodle dish with cream sauce. For two people and ice tea, it was $54.00. It was the worse place we ate at. Some will like it, but we didn't. We... More

This place has a great view of the sound and ferry traffic. The outside seats are great. We ate there about 2 years ago and loved it. Not now. The Good first, Blue Cheese Salad was great. My wife enjoyed her Goat Cheese Pasta. On the other hand I had Chicken Dijon. It was very disappointing. It had ham slice... More

I agree with all of the other reviewers that this place is really historic and very cool. The place has been here since 1885, and you can feel the vibe as soon as you step in. We got here early - around 4:30 and the place was not at all crowded, but we were informed that a large party was... More

The menu here has stayed the same for years. But, they seem to know what they do well and go with it. The outdoor seating is waterfront, and most of the inside has a nice view as well. I almost always have the crab artichoke melt, which is open face. It's very rich. The kids had a cheeseburger, and a... More

I was with friends and ordered a Seafood Pasta. The description sounded great--linguini with salmon, mussels, clams, and various other critters, along with a wine and butter sauce. Unfortunately, the sauce arrived as a watery soup. Not sure if the pasta was insufficiently drained or if water was added. Whatever, the dish was a total disappointment. My friends did a... More

My wife and I were looking for a restaurant with outdoor seating since the weather was so nice. The deck at the Belmont gives a beautiful view of Port Townsend Bay. The service was excellent. I told the server that my wife was hoping they had fish and chips, and he said the kitchen could do that for her. I... More

For the best lunch, brunch or dinner go here! You can sit inside with Victorian atmosphere, a back deck with the ocean in view, service is excellent, food is out of this world tasty, for a special celebration, I would go here!
