A small cafe in the industrial part of town next to a boat yard dishes up fantastic breakfasts. Expect a wait during the morning rush hour but you will not be disappointed. Friendly hard working staff and interior decor add to the atmosphere. No views but you don't need them when you are enjoying the food promptly served.

Every time we visit the historic Victorian seaport town of Port Townsend, which is usually several times a year, we try to find new places to stay and new places to eat. We particularly like to find little hole in the wall out of the way places. Such a place is the fabulous Blue Moose cafe, located at the far... More

Rated as the best breakfasts in Port Townsend ... Our breakfasts were good ... But even better is the Chimacum Cafe about 6 or 7 miles down the road.

We came here one morning for breakfast during our vacation in the Pacific Northwest. It's a little place, very cute, very friendly people and awesome food! I had a veggie omelette with FRESH veggies and potatoes and they seemed to have some type of homemade jam on the table. My boyfriend had some sort of egg dish with smoked salmon... More

This little café is in an unusual location, but we found it & had breakfast. It is a small busy little café that has good old down home cooking. We enjoyed our breakfast (just like we were at home) and would recommend this to anyone visiting Port Townsend.

We took Trip Advisors advice and went for breakfast. The restuarant is small and homey. Very fresh ingredients and interesting preperations. My husband had corned beef hash that was outstanding. Not finely minced meat but big chunks of tender beef and fresh potatoes. Go hungry the portions are huge. Cute decor.

This is the place. Down in the drydock area of the boat harbor south of town. Kind of hard to find, Small, Lots of stuff to look at, and reasonably priced down home fare...meatloaf sandwiches, burgers, reubens etc.

Yes, this place is just as good as everyone here says -- it really is, and the corned beef hash is sheer bliss. The wait staff is exceptionally skilled and enjoyable. Can't find a fault -- just a truly terrific experience.

We asked some local folk to recommend their favourite diner - they universally (all five of them) recommended the Blue Moose. They could not have recommended better. It took us two passes to find the cafe, but, it was worth it. The staff were very friendly. The cafe was warm and very 'local' and friendly. The food was superb. Their... More

The absolute best breakfast that we had during our stay! They only serve breakfast until 11:30, then switch over to lunch until 2:00. The best biscuits & gravy that we had!
