Had breakfast. Everything was fantastic. Baked goods supplied by local bakery. Coffee from local roaster. Great menu. A must stop.

We waited about 20 minutes for a table, but didn't mind as we were given a hot cup of coffee. The food was definitely worth the wait! I had the French toast, so good dipped in vanilla custard. My husband had a bacon cheese omelet and loved it! We are already planning what to try next time, as the first... More

We had read good reviews of the Blue Moose, so even though it looks pretty tacky, inside and out, we decided to try it. We are so glad we did. My husband and I agreed that the meat loaf sandwich, while a bit sloppy to eat, was the tastiest we have ever had. Warm meat loaf, grilled onions and melted... More

We were on our way out of town , and decided to stop for a quick bite before heading to the Ferry. We are sooo glad we did! Friendly staff, with great attentive service. But to top it all off, the best Burger we have had in a restaurant....ever! I had mine with the house made potato salad which was... More

I'd love to click on that fifth circle but I can't bring myself to for a couple reasons... First reason is they only take cash and checks. In this particular instance, we were all kind of sitting there patting our pockets (there were 5 of us) having just gone to a wedding the day before! Luckily a person in our... More

We went here on 6/24/14 for breakfast because of raves about the corned beef hash. The food was less than stellar. My husband got hash with 2 eggs medium + sourdough toast for $10.25 (he got dry end piece). His eggs were overcooked, the hash potatoes were too big and not enough corned beef in the hash. He said he'd... More

I wanted to try the acclaimed corn beef hash but arrived 5 minutes after they stopped serving breakfast (11:30). I went with the Reuben and it was delicious. Someone else I was with got the turkey Reuben and they said it was awesome. Definitely worth stopping by.

The wife and I were traveling through Port Townsend from Lake Oswego, Oregon. I saw an positive review for the Blue Moose, and we decided to give it a try for breakfast. It is a VERY small "Hole in the Wall" kind of place that looks like where all the locals go (at least for breakfast). You don't need to... More

While visiting this weird little town of Port Townsend (and we like weird) we kept hearing about this eatery. Finally we went for breakfast. The challenge is finding a parking space, but well worth the challenge. They serve a special blend of Sunrise coffee which is a roaster across the street and I strongly feel the best coffee in all... I love the breakfasts at the Blue Moose, but lunch leaves a lot to be desired. I had their special; clam chowder and chicken salad served on two small rolls. The clam chowder should have been called potato chowder as more then 3/4 of the cup was filled with big potatoes and the chicken salad had too much grizzle left... More
