Tasty, interesting and reasonable

Several locals recommended this place and we were glad we tried it. My brother is a big sushi fan and was pleased with his seaweed salad and sushi -- there were some very innovative sushi choices. Great food and service. We were a party of four, all had different dishes, and we were all deilighted with our meals. Good prices as well.

I'd heard quite a bit about this place, most of it good, but our first visit was a letdown. I had the curry chicken donburi; I thought it wasn't very good at all. What was more a stew than a curry pretty much buried the rice. The veggies were overcooked and the curry had a bitter, unappetizing edge to it.... More

The noodle soup was so good for lunch that we returned for dinner the same day! We've eaten noodles in many locations across the continental US, and these are the best.

Great place for a last stop before the movies- Rose Theatre next door. Soups have been very good, and large IS large, so unless you're really ready for a tub of it, the smaller size is about right for the average appetite. Last time there, the broiler quit and we didn't get the mackerel that we came in for. Ended... More

Uninspired. Slow service, average and under-seasoned food; prices a bit too high for what is served. Not true best of Port T.

I didn't have a lot of confidence about this, but we were very satisfied with the lunch here: we had very tasty miso soups, a nice seaweed salad, and fresh salmon/tuna rice donburi and a similar black cod rice dish. All good, and reasonably priced (donburi $14)

I had been to this sushi bar a few times in the past and put up with the so-so wait service because the sushi here I seriously yummy. This last visit, however, turned me off the place for good. A very snobby waitress who set my husband and I and promptly ignored us for the next 10 minutes without so... More

This was the first time we've been to Port Townsend. We immediately looked for a good place to eat, and found this gem. We sat at the bar and watched Andreas and Sky make delicious food!! Ashley and Jacqueline were busy making the customers feel right at home. Our waitress Jacqueline did a fabulous job and it was her first... More
