First off, the service was prompt and very pleasant. We received our food quickly. I have to say, I'm a sucker for Asian comfort food and I ordered the Tom-Yum Noodle Soup. Every bite was delicious. Priced reasonably with ample portions. I filled up on a small order. Even my daughter loved it. Would happily return any day. Wish there... More

What a perfect way to spend a chilly lunch. But with some hot noodle soup and a cold beer. The food was delicious. A very cute place.

This little hole in the wall asian cafe is on a side street betwen Water and Washington avenues, easy walking distance from where we were staying. We had read some good reviews of it on Trip Advisor, so made our way there for a late-ish lunch about 2 pm. Imagine our surprise when we entered to find the place packed... More

This is a good place for a variety of Asian noodles—ramen, soba, rice, vermicelli in very flavorful broths.

Hanazono is my most recommended restaurant in Port Townsend. Their food is always superb, the service friendly, and the atmosphere vibrant and fragrant. As a curious eater, I love watching the cooks prepare your meal in their open kitchen. Recently, my favored dish is the Ma Bo Ramen, a special. If you want something lighter they prepare great sushi and... More

My experience is always sitting at the counter and ordering one of their noodle soups, specifically the Vegan Soup. Soups come in two sizes. I get the "small"...but, really?...ah, its a lot to eat. The staff and cooks are Port Townsend funky, but they know their stuff, that is for sure. I head for Hanizono for fast, healthy, delicious and... More

We saw ahi tuna fish tacos advertised and decided to give it a try - a delicious decision. Lunchtime on a sunny Sunday afternoon meant it was busy, but we snagged a two stools and a counter at the window. Great people watching place. The fish tacos were amazing, just the right hit of spice. My husband ordered another plateful!... More

Excellent Tom-Tom Noodle bowl -very spicy -loved it. Also delicious cold noodle salad with tofu and fresh baby spinach and romaine. Only negative: very slow service. But we definitely will go again.

I ordered gyoza, tonkotsu ramen and a large Kirin Ichiban Shibori. The gyoza was probably the best I have had outside Japan and the ramen was delicious. The place itself is so Japanese, the only difference from Japan is the lack of Japanese customers and Japanese employees. If you visit Port Townsend and like Japanese traditional food you must go...
