Top notch and fresh food

Had lunch with a friend who was "noodle crazy" and we were both happy with our meals. The food was very well prepared -- obviously fresh vegetables that were cooked JUST RIGHT. We shared Gyoza appetizer (best I've ever had) and then ordered different noodle stir-fry dishes. It was Friday lunch... read more

We sneak off to Port Townsend for dinner and a movie whenever we have a chance and this restaurant is our all time fave place to be after a matinee. Simply wonderful soups, etc... Always hits the spot..

Hanazono opens at noon, and is a great little Japanese/American lunch spot. Excellent tastes from grilled fish, to egg rolls; and plenty of salad-based dishes in between. Not a fancy place, but clean and well run. Great value.

I eat here once year or so.Every time ,I want it to be good but it just comes up OK. Not much thought goes into the dishes. Noodles and broth a few chunks of meat 10$. Nice dinning room.

Fantastic food great service plus tea. Very good place to experience really good noodle soup. They have sushi and rice but I think the noodles are the star. Several kinds of noodles. The servers are friendly and I sit back on the counter that overlooks the cooking area. Fun to watch them cook your food. Veggies are fresh and the... More

I had high hope for Hanazono - it's a cute little restaurant in the heart of downtown, sadly, it failed to impress on several levels. To start the one server in the restaurant was hardly pleasant - her matter of fact attitude was off putting and when we first arrived she seemed to be the only one serving the dining... More

This is the place for laid back dinner in Port Townsend. Fresh food, Asian flavor and home town atmosphere. It is my all time favorite. The movie theater is right next door, so enjoy a show after you have dinner.

Great Asian food. The Yakisoba is very good. I highly recommend the Spinach Salad. The only dish we found too hot (spice) is the Tom-Yum Soup. The restaurant is very small and extremely noisy, but prices are very good.

You have many great options when eating out in this quaint downrown. I am not a big noodle guy, so I made my wife and daughter walk around and "shop" our options (we had already eaten at a couple of other great options nearby on this trip!) This always costs me as they kept finding interesting shops! For Asian, this... More

A few years ago my wife and I vacationed in Hawaii. One of the places we ate at in Waikiki was an Asian noodle house and I have been craving a good noodle soup since then (they are almost nonexistent near where I live) Jump forward: On a recent trip to Port Townsend, WA I stopped at Hanazono Asian Noodle...
