It gets busy on a Saturday but the wait is worth it for the food! All freshly made for you. The big udon noodle dishes are the best!

My wife and I consider Hanazono to be our favorite restaurant in Port Townsend. The food is reliably delicious, the sake menu is simply amazing and it's become our default for the question "where should we go for dinner or lunch." I love their Shrimp Rolls and the bowls of noodles are excellent. The large bowls easily make two meals.... More

This is the best "donburi" that I have had the pleasure of tasting. Beautiful lingering sauce with a suburb kitchen to watch while you wait. Quaint setting along a quiet side street in Port Townsend.

We happened upon this restaurant one day. We were walking along looking for a cafe, and spotted it. It looked very nice, and so we looked at the menu. There was a long wait. If it's very busy, the service is slow. The food is delicious, and worth the wait. If there's no wait, it would be perfect. I had... More

These guys have the best sushi in town, actually this side of the hood canal bridge. All their food is good and fresh with exceptional presentation, obviously they have a lot of pride in their food and the service they provide.

We ate here on our last visit and it was by far the best place in Port Townsend for sushi, it was reasonably priced, everything looked and tasted great, the fish was good quality and the rice was fresh, unlike some places that make a weeks worth at a time. The staff was very friendly and helpful. We will be... More

A beautiful melange of fresh flavors artfully and thoughtfully presented in a relaxed environment. The Tom Yum broth with grilled chicken was delicious. Broth is a little spicey--medium to hot heat tolerance recommended. If you prefer less heat try another broth or another of their vast offerings! If you are visiting Port Townsend, lunch or dinner, this is a must experience!!!

Salmon taco's and deep fried zucchini - very tasty! Salad with noodles just okay... unfortunately the chicken was dry and not very tasty.

I live in Port Townsend and was thrilled to see that this restaurant now offers delicious vegan fair. One dish I can happily recommend is the stir fry with buckwheat noodles. So glad they offer this choice and there are at least 3 hot vegan meals. Yummy!
