After years if driving by,finally went in for breakfast. Nothing really special but the food was good. Service by wait staff was friendly and quick. I had hashbrowns with cheese and it was yummy.

I've driven by this place a lot on my way to visit my father at the Veteran's Home in Retsil. Enticed my Spousal Unit to join me this morning by promising her breakfast at this place. It was a good move all the way around. The Family Pancake House (FPH) notes on their menus that they have been in business...

Family Pancake House is ALWAYS packed, and I'm amazed. It's a 'Denny's' style restaurant that is open for B/L/D. They always have a special. My son and I went for breakfast after church on a recent Sunday. He ordered Swedish pancakes and said they were great. I got an omelet. The eggs were like sponge - REALLY fluffy and without...

Place looked clean, prices were decent. You got plenty of food. Were a party of 6 so we had pancakes, bacon, eggs, sausages and french toast sticks. No complaints from anyone. Service was good. Menu also offered a few items you don't normally see on a breakfast menu. I enjoyed it, and would return.
We'd been to the Pancake House once before, and our dinner was pretty good, and I loved the Candy cane milkshake I had for dessert. But this time, I was dissapointed. My dad ordered the Classic Ham Waffle since they serve breakfast all day, and it was SO TINY. one puny little waffle with 3 tiny pieces of ham on...

menu is pretty good, good service, food not bad. my friends and i have eaten here several times. i don't want to go here myself, but will if my friends want to. it is sooooo noisy. can't here ourselves try to talk.
Typical Denny's type restaurant BUT much cleaner. Food is good, service is good and the prices are reasonable. This family run restaurant has had many of the same emplolyees for years; they're friendly and get your food to you while it's still hot. My only complaint is that their coffee is not very good.
Breakfast or Lunch this place is okay. Used to be okay for Dinner also. I have been there for Dinner over two years, I don't like pan fried prime Rib, that has the glazing on it from the pan. Pan Fried steak you are better off, getting your sole of your shoe. Like I said no more Dinner disappointments for...

Another of those long-time institutions that's still open in spite of itself.
Service is usually crappy, and the food is usually below-average. Last time I ate there, the omelet I had with my pancakes was obviously made with powdered eggs. THe waitress tried to blow smoke up my stern by telling me that they just---get this---add air into them!!!!
I've...
