The food isn't anything special; but it's a quaint little restaurant. Great place for your lady friends.

We did. And it pains me to say that we were mildly disappointed. I have to echo many of AnnaDan M's comments. The tea selection left much to be desired. The food was really only so-so. The kitchen noise and constant too loud conversations among the staff definitely detracted from our experience. How can a tea shop not have SCONES?... More

This restaurant was recommended by SK classmates I hadn't seen in years and I'd never been there and was excited. I ordered the curry chicken croissant and had a choice of soup or salad. I chose the soup. The order came to the table and the soup was so thick (one of my classmates noticed it as well), looked like... More

The food is good, but you cannot get service from your waitress. The High Teas are a lot of fun, but are a little pricey. The gift shop has some nice jewelry and knick knacks.

Tea selection: for a place that advertises itself as a tea room, I would expect more than 10 varieties. Food: nice selection of sandwiches and salads...with 2 soups to choose from. I had the quiche which should have been served much warmer than it was..but the soup was good and hot and very filling. The herb biscuits were light and... More

I enjoyed a lunch here earlier this summer. Have never visited before, thinking it was geared primarily to ladies looking to have tea together. If you haven't driven by before to see the Victorian décor of the buildings, you might not understand, and I had always thought the menu would be geared to the fan club of author Debbie Macomber... The wait staff has an attitude....if I don't want strawberry tea apparently it is difficult for them. She arrived at the table with it without asking and then made it apparent she didn't like the fact we wanted to order our tea from the menu. Flat strawberry muffins do not qualify as scones. When the tray arrived, there were not... More

A quaint place owned by the author of Cedar Cove (Debbie McComber). It also has a gift shop full of her books and related items. Service was friendly but a little slow. Our sandwiches were good and we enjoyed the tea, although the selection was limited. Definitely would recommend however.

While the ambience is great for a Ladies Luncheon, I wouldn't recommend it for families with young children. They don't offer coloring pages and they don't have children's cups. The Kids Menu offers a hot dog or half a sandwich with chips, cookie and drink for $5.95. This visit I had the Cobb Salad for about $10. It had LOTS... More

really good food, not expensive and the service is really good too. If you like the author Debbie Maccomber you must go and enjoy her Victorian Tea Room.
