The chef Patti Horton and the Wine Selector Dorian Woodson did a fantastic job in pairing the wines and course menu. It was a excellent event and something we don't have much of in Kitsap County. Hats off to Kim and Erik, we hope they continue to have these type of dinners at their restaurant!! Also we have had lunch... More

Sue Dolen graciously invited us to Port Gamble for a wine tasting dinner. Dave also was there, who chauffeured us. The wine tasting dinner was excellent. The chef is Patti Horton, who went to the culinary school in New York. boy, was I impressed. I did not expect this dinner to be EXCELLENT. I was actually shocked. We will definitely... More

Our Fathers Day dinner was extremely well executed. Well balanced, timely service with an abundant, experienced staff that was attentive without hovering. Although the food was very, very good, there is some opportunity for continued evolution in design and preparation to match prices. Presentation was terrific except for the obviously clean, but slightly "spotted" flatware and smallish "rustic" cloth napkins.... More

This restaurant is still evolving from what was once a burger and hot dog counter in the back of the Port Gamble General Store to a remodeled dining room in the same area to now, a totally new added on bar and dining room with several windows that provide views to Port Gamble Bay. The problem, however, is the new... More

In short, the food was poor, the service was poor, and their attitude was “We don’t really care”. Stop going until they get their act together! I have eaten at the Port Gamble Café four times over the last two years. The dinner about two years ago was not bad. Perhaps 3 or 4 stars. However, it was pricy for... More

I reserved a window table for my June 1 birthday. Their hostess is so sweet and followed up immediately with a confirmation email. She was there that day and had everything set up. Our server, John, was top notch, including his great New Zealand accent! Food was good all around. Very fresh and prepared with care. Patti does an amazing... More

It's been a local favorite for a couple of years... after their transformation from being a simple costs-too-much tourist trap diner to a real restaurant. Their menu is lovely with something for everyone, and anything but traditional... though there are very good hamburgers to be had with their tasty waffle fries. All in all, nearly everything is yummy! The main... More

We stopped here on a whim on the way home from hiking on the Olympic Penninsula and were glad we did. Every dish we ordered was done right and the crab roll (think Maine lobster roll) was fantastic. That said, the kitchen seemed short staffed and had a hard time keeping up. We will definitely be going back for a... More

Nothing fake about this place, but I had no room for desert. Good service good food and other than the noise level of the old store we had an a very good time.

We were in town and decided on this place for lunch based on previous reviews. We were seated promptly and the waitress was right there with the menus. She came back and took our order. From there it went down hill. The wife ordered the meatloaf melt with fries and I ordered fish and chips. Then we sat, and sat.... More
