My husband & I walked over from our hotel for breakfast. We shared a cinnamon bun, and each got a coffee drink. It was over all great. It was a very popular attraction!
Really good, interesting food and great coffee. Delicious desserts, too. Perfect patio with a view of the lake out back that's the place for happy hour with draft pours. It's only a stroll away from Inn at Lake Pateros.
We stopped for gas and while my hubby pumped, I checked out Trip Advisor for a place to grab lunch. And just Next to the station, was Sweet River Bakery with high marks for their fare. This is a place where we probably would not have stopped, but were glad we did! We shared delicious mushroom soup and a wonderful... More
Low key, efficient service, good pastry. Nice variety, the coffee was nice too. The lunch menu looks interessting though we did not try it.
This small town joint has the small town feel with some big city flair. I have been there quite a few times and the service is very friendly but the chances your order will come as you ordered it are about 50/50. Once they get it right the food is delicious and thats what keeps you coming back, Live bands... More
Great coffee and baked goods. Happiness is finding this place on my bike tour down the Columbia! It was like a breath of fresh air.
Made a pit stop here for dinner on the way up to Canada. Had the veggie sandwich, minestrone soup and side salad. Everything was delicious. Saw several families ordering pizza that also looked good. Wide variety on the menu, but the bread for my sandwich was so good, I bought a loaf to take home :)
They have great music on the weekends, carrie some outstanding local beer in 20 oz bottles and make a world class old style fire baked pizza that I routinely travel 50 miles for.
Usually I review places I've visited when traveling. This one's right here in my hometown and much loved by the locals. Coffee and lattes are fragrant and full bodied, bread is baked fresh every morning so the sandwiches are great...lots of fresh veggies. Cookies are a treat, but probably our favorite is their pizza. Baked in a brick oven and... More
Everytime I'm in the area I stop in for a coffee and pastry. I'm from Seattle and would prefer SweetRiver over Starbucks anyday. They serve coffee from a local roaster too.
