The "Perch" is in need of some severe updates. Food was poor and took a long time to prepare. My granddaughter found a hair in her salad dressing and her noodles were not fully cooked.

We ate here while staying in Moclips. It was a classic mom and pop place with the owners functioning as the cook and the waitress. They were very friendly and the food arrived promptly. We were there on a Friday so I got to try their clam chowder. It was very good. My husband chose the halibut and chips. I... More

Horrible service! I was blatantly ignored. I walked in and stood at the counter to ask a question about the dining hours. (I'm a pleasant looking person--I smile a lot and I'm non-intimidating.) Three people in the kitchen area and not one acknowledged me. If that wasn't bad enough, a server came out, I said, "Excuse me." She paused and... More

Just got a burger which tasted like bad meat. I've heard other good reviews. I'd skip the burger and stick with the specials.

Based on previous reviews, my husband and I came to Paddie's Perch from Moclips for dinner as the options in the area are very limited. (By the way, the name of the place is taken from the team of Patty and Eddie, owners, cooks and waitstaff.) Everyone in the restaurant were locals as the summer season has ended. My husband... More

I love going here with girlfriends instead of my husband so I can eat such yummy things without feeling guilty LOL Love their dinner specials which usually has some kind of fresh fish. Chowder is excellent! Home make biscuits with dinner are a plus too. Large portions, especially chicken fried steak, so your usually too full for desert but take... More

This is a great place for dinner. In season, they have dungeness crab. The chowder is yummy and available Fridays and Saturdays. Breakfasts are a treat. Lunch is also available. Be sure to save room for pie. There is now a display case so the temptation is out in view. In summer, there's fresh strawberry. Since this is basically a... More

Besides having a good menu where a lot of locals come to eat, this place has great pies. Don't miss it!

Another pleasant surprise in Pacific Beach. They serve mostly breakfast and seem to have unpredictable hours. They close early - no late dinners here, but the food is much better than the alternative up the road at the Windjammer. The kids were happy with the chicken strips and pancakes and I was very happy with my crab and shrimp benedict... More

I must say, ignore the "casual" seating and enjoy the wonderful meals coming out of the kitchen... wow! The best chowder I've tasted in a long time (and I know my chowderrs!!)... and award winning "triple chocolate crunch pie".... Banana Creme, yummy... and I just couldn't find space before we went home for testing the rest..... yes, the scales say... More
