I really enjoy this spot because it is large, very nice, and quiet. Many times coffee shops are a little too much noise if you are reading or studying. This one is located close to Lacey Transit so you can hop off the bus, have a cuppa, read, relax, and get back on the bus!

This location is right on busy Capitol Way in downtown Olympia. The Batdorf and Bronson owners/managers have provided a real living room and homey atmosphere where you can enjoy your coffee at a leisurely pace. The baristas are quick to prepare your delectable coffee or tea drink. Whole and ground beans are available for purchase. All types of assorted hot... More

I have been making espresso for many years so I'm quite particular (coffee snob and OK with that). The cappuccino that I ordered for breakfast at Batdorf and Bronson was excellent. Also, the person making the espresso was quite friendly and appeared to enjoy his craft. Overall highly recommended!

Locally owned and tastier and much bigger than Starbucks. Laptops everywhere with lots of elbow room to relax while you catch up on emails. Snuggie up next to the fireplace or view the local art that rotates on the walls. Buy a bag of B&B coffee and dare to compare!

This coffee shop is the gold standard for coffee shops in Olympia WA. They roast their own beans, and the result is some of the best tasting coffee around. The shop also offers and array of teas and goodies to have along with your beverage. The space itself is very lovely, large with high ceilings and ample seating. The work... More

If I could, I'd give this place a thousand stars bc it is the BEST place I've ever had coffee. This place easily blows any chain coffee shop out of the water. This location is convenient for when I want to head over to the farmer's market. I have only tried the vanilla latte, bc it is so goood. I'm... More

Great coffee but slow is the culture at this joint so adjust your expectations accordingly. If you love coffee and lingering over a good book or good conversation this is the place for you.

The reviews are correct, this place serves very good coffee, but you often have to tolerate a wait and occasionally surly barristas who have more important things to do than hustle the drinks out when there is a cue. On a recent visit when the drinks were backed up, the sole barrista was horsing around (i.e. flirting) with a guy... More
