It's the soup nazi on steroids

If you want an experience, good food for a reasonable price, and a story to tell, this is the place to come. Is it quaint? Barely (it's next door to a sketchy tattoo parlor). Is it eclectic? Absolutely (who doesn't take credit/debit cards in this day and age?). Are the wait staff stellar? Hardly... read more

I had been Tod about Trinacria from everyone, so we went. The bottle of wine our server recommended to pair with our food was great, and the food was absolutely outstanding. The food took a little while to arrive, but we are not impatient like so, so many other reviewers.

My boyfriend and I had a wonderful date night at Trinacria. We started out with the chef's choice wine which was absolutely superb. We also ordered two dishes (which we shared), the brocolli penne and the lasagna (which you do need to order ahead). The lasagna was the most amazing lasagna that either of us had ever had and was... I have had a few ok experiences at this restaurant, and one really terrible experience. As was mentioned in other reviews the service is poor at best from both the owner and the servers. The servers are hostile and confrontational, acting is out, yelling at customers and acting like they are doing you a favor by serving you. The food... More

You need a reservation to go to this place. All the food is homemade, and of good quality. Most everything is basically meatless, but homemade pastas, and sauces. Quaint atmosphere, albeit eclectic. Good wines, fun place.

We've gone to Trinacria's for 16 years.............always on our anniversary. It's wonderful. I can't recommend any place in Olympia over them. Food, Quality, Service, Price and ambiance are all wonderful. Truly a gem.

A co-worker raved about this place. I should have known something was wrong when I saw him eat a hotdog from a 7-11, but I decided to give it a try. Went in one night for dinner. I can deal with a small restaurant where I can see into the kitchen. I cannot deal with the wandering, socially cook while I... More

My husband is Italian & we both agree that the Lasagna at Trinacria is the best we have ever tasted. Everything is made to order so need to make reservations. If you want to order the Lasagna be sure to be there by 6pm. I have tried Eugenio's other pasta dishes & they are excellent too. This restaurant has a... More

I love Italian food. I want to support Olympia restaurants. However, the owner of this restaurant is consistently arrogant and rude. He does not take good care of his employees. The place could be empty and if you do not have a reservation you will not be able to get a table.

Well, unfortunately, a restaurant in this day and age that doesn't take credit cards loses customers. We were ready to order dinner when we noticed that the menu states they don't take credit cards. We were enjoying walking around downtown and we didn't have our checkbook or enough cash. Yes, we could have walked to the bank on the corner... More
