Great lunch

We love this place. We usually stop by in the morning. This time we stopped in for lunch and then bought some treats to take with us. Lunch was very filling and well balanced. Fruit and salad and sandwich with some carrot cake too.

Recommended by a baker in Lacey. Visited early on a weekday and found the store busy; however the staff were eager to provide great customer service. There are several options and a wide variety of beautiful pastries. The pastries were tasty but we're also pricey. Parking can be an issue when they are busy. I doubt I will drive that... More

We stopped in and got breakfast bagels to go. It came with a side of fruit which was nice and a little wedge of cake. The sandwich itself was incredibly bland with way to much cheese. I wasn't impressed.

The food was really good and tasted fresh. The pastries were to die for. Maybe we caught them on a bad day, but the service wasn't so friendly. Overall, though, we'd definitely give it another chance.

Never been disappointed. All the pastries are excellent. they are german style, which I like. For french style, there is an alternative in town. The ingredients are clearly the best. Wide variety of items. Carrot spice cake is legendary. All cakes and tortes a treat for the eye and the mouth. Pastry items available at Olympia Farmers' Market too. Wagner's... More

As a regular customer of this bakery for many years I've been disappointed watching it's steady decline in quality and continued increase in pricing. You won't get any deals or value here. Several years ago this was the place to go in the S. Puget Sound for baked goods, including cakes, bread, pastry, etc. It has been eclipsed by other... More

Wagners has been a jewel in Olympia for many years. The bakery items are wonderful but lunch is also divine! Sunday mornings offer a wonderful scone and coffee for very little. Its just a bounty of wonderful flavors! There are a few limited seating arrangements outside but the main seating is inside. There are a few stairs to walk down... More

We stopped at the Capitol building and someone suggested that we check out Wagner's for lunch. It is just a few blocks down from the Capitol and has many options for lunch as well as a large selection of pastries and baked goods, which unfortunately I didn't get to try. We got a sampler of three different pastas and a... More

Between breakfast, lunch, and sweets, there is something for everyone here! They have typical American treats like donuts and muffins, but the also have a large European treat selection. All you have to do is ask and they will explain all the flavors to you. All of the items we tasted we delicious.

In my opinion, this is an ideal high quality traditional American bakery. It is lively, busy and fun. They are famous for their cinnamon bread- take a loaf with you. There is a very broad selection of fresh baked goods, a deli counter, full service coffee. Plenty of seating Available street parking at $.25 for 15 minutes.
