My husband and I have had a chance to sample several of their pastries and cakes. Two of our favorites are the cheese danish and the german chocolate cake. You won't be disappointed with either. We bought a selection of pastries for my family when they came to visit. They enjoyed them so much they bought more to take home.... more

Wagner's is one of our "must visit" locations when traveling through Olympia. Thankfully, I didn't know about them when I lived in Olympia or I may have been visiting them daily! I now measure every bakery I visit against Wagner's and have yet to find one that I like better. Their cinnamon bread is like nothing else...far more rolls in... more

I can't say much about their deli but their baked goods are hardly above average. They are all overly sweet. If you've ever been to an actual bakery in Europe, this is nothing like it, at least not the ones I've been to. Their presentation is nice but other than that expect an average sweet pastry or cake. more

I've lived in Oly my entire life and I grew up with special weekend breakfasts shared at Wagner's. I've stopped going to Wagner's, although they have a few good things. My favorites are the Christmas items - stollen with marzipan, but last year they had them mislabeled, so no marzipan - and pfeffernusse. But I've had other things I couldn't eat, like their "Napoleans." The toughest crust (supposed to be "pate feuillete"), but I could not get a... more
