Average Water front seafood restaurant in Olympia, Wa.

Food was good but not great. Service and atmosphere were also good. Seating in the back of the restaurant and the patio offer a view of the water and Olympic mountains. I had the oyster basket and my wife had the half order of cod and chips. Both were generous portion. My wife said the batter was a... read more

Decent food quality, but not outstanding. great, though, for oysters. Good service, nice atmosphere, outside harborview dining available. This restaurant has was established at this location in the 1920's.

We were there on a hot afternoon and sat on deck. Just had snacks, crab cakes, oyster shooters and onion rings and they were good. Good beer choices.

We had a bad experience at the Oyster House in July 2014 right after they reopened, and we chalked it up to new staff. However a year later, we gave them another shot, and while the food was ok, the service was so bad that it ruined the experience. We were taken to a table on the patio that was... More

The food here is very good. The portions are big. The outdoor seating deck is a great place to dine on weather permitting days. The staff are professional, efficient and friendly.

The old Olympia oyster house was a landmark and burned down a few years back this was my first trip to the new one and while the charm was different it was still charming. The staff was crazy good and wanted to make sure we got the best items. One of the servers Bobby who was not our server at... More

Seeing the umbrellas on the deck beckoned us to have lunch at what we found out was the oldest seafood restaurant in Washington State (1924). Our gracious server Colton aimed to please. We enjoyed the Manhattan chowder though it was more like vegetable soup because there were only 3 small pieces of clam. My friend said the burger with 3... More

Wonderful food. Great staff. Even with our large party of 9 we felt welcome and everything arrived hot and tasty. If you have time it is worth the trip.

This food had absolutely no character and was ludicrously over-priced. The service was this side of abysmal. We went there for husband's birthday. My dad, who is 91, was with us. I asked the person seating us to put us somewhere warmer b/c the AC was blasting and my father gets cold like all old people. We all froze all... More

We went to the Oyster house for lunch on the 4th of July, got great seating outside overlooking the water (no waiting), they did have new menus with new prices. Also there were some new items on the menu, we all tried new items. I had the halibut sandwich with a baked potato and it was very good. One other... More
