Fried halibut, Cobb salad, clam chowder, everything was as close to perfect as I could have asked. They just reopened, so they seem a little scattered right now, but it's an excellent time to get their best foot forward.

August 12, 2014 @ 11 AM and we are one of the first through the doors as the Oyster House reopens after a year of reconstruction following a fire. We were ahead of the lunch crowd so service was excellent. Our server was new but well informed and very attentive. We had oyster on the half shell as an appetizer... More

The Oyster House is back after being destroyed by fire. The menu is unchanged, which is good, but some will say the management may have list an opportunity. The look of the outside and inside is mostly unchanged although the memorabilia of Washington's oldest restaurant has been lost. Service is good, but parking is limited. And the coleslaw is not... I'm updating photos, and food review. Glad to say the Olympia Oyster House opened again on the 12th of August. They've attempted to keep the same, historical, ambiance they've had for many, many years - that, I'm happy to see! I ate there yesterday at about 1:30, and the place was Packed!!! Their menu looks good, and although the succulent... More

I am not a big steak eater BUT do love a filet cooked to perfection and the Oyster House has always been spot on. It's being rebuilt thank God, as nothing else in this town compares. I can't wait for it to reopen!

The Oyster House burned down months ago, is currently being rebuilt. Appears to be a summer reopening - hopefully. This was a landmark and is truly missed! The food was so-o-o good!

This was a great place for a sandwich and a view of the pleasure boats but it's all ashes now. I hope someone takes advantage of a great location with plenty of parking to rebuild. I remember when this was THE place to take a date while out for a sail or just putzing around on the bay.
