So glad to Oyster House is back up and running! For several years, this has been "the" place my best friend and I meet when I come to town. We, of course, rarely stray from the halibut and chips, which is absolutely PERFECT!! Interesting coleslaw that works and is tasty. Our service was great and we had a nice chat to... More

Went to the Oyster House on the Friday before Christmas, even with all the downtown shoppers stopping for a great evening meal we were seated in less than ten minutes. We got there at about 615PM and the place was busy. Karen was our order taker and she was great, got our drinks to us fast, they did make a... More

The rebuilt space is very nice. The food however was not good. Our clam chowder lacked flavor. The crabcakes were mostly breading. Fish and chips were meager. Caesar salad dry and flavorless. Party of 4 will not be back.

We love the Oyster House as an Olympia Landon mark and do love the Seafood. The steamed clams were delicious. But it is always noisy and the service is slow. Go when you have lots of time and can block out the moise.

I'd not eaten at the Oyster House for some time and decided to give it a try after the rebuild. I ate lunch with several neighborhood friends. The service was slow and somewhat disorganized. I ordered halibut and chips. The chips were a generous portion and nice and crispy. The halibut was okay, a bit soggy and not the best... More

The Oyster House is back in business. It's an Olympia landmark. We recently had dinner during the week with a group of friends. I had a cup of chowder which was just OK. It was not as good as Anthony's or other restaurants in the area. The service was very spotty. I don't think that the restaurant had enough wait... More

I have been coming to the Oyster House for decades. I am writing this review specifically based on my experiences since the restaurant re-opened this year after it was rebuilt after the fire. Since the reopening, I have dined here 4 times, 3 at lunch and 1 at dinner. I had a wonderful lunch with a colleague here today, and... More

I've been eating at the Oyster House for over 40 years and the truth of the matter is that they called a Shrimp Caesar Salad is in no indicative of what they normally serve. First of all, Romaine lettuce ought to be crisp, this was limp and totally without crunch, secondly the shrimp had obviously been frozen, it was as... More

Waited a while to try it after the fire but was so disappointed. Our server was good, she was just too swamped. We ordered appetizers & drinks that never arrived, even after asking a couple of times. The restaurant was not that full, there weren't enough employees to make it work. When one of our party said something to the... More

Have been coming to the Oyster House for over 40 years. Now that we live down in Clark County, we don't get in as often. We had a birthday celebration involving 11 of us. All of us were very impressed by the food. Our dinners included everything from fried oysters, sandwiches, prime rib, crab, and many other dishes. Our waitress,... More
