We enjoyed our lunch stop at 5th avenue sandwich shop. We went for the New York pastrami on rye and turkey club on soda. My pastrami was deep-filled and the bread absolutely delicious. The turkey club was tasty but had a bit too much mayo. I'd therefore recommend you tell them to go easy on the mayo if you opt... More

WOW! Lunch was awesome, they are really busy, but are able to somehow manage to get you your order out in a timely fashion? The sandwiches are amazing, have to try a plate of food sometime or a salad.

I had a turkey sandwich with bacon and avocado. It was HUGE. I could only eat half of it at a sitting. The bread was great and the sandwich had just the right amount of toppings. The next, the sandwich filling was still delicious, but the bread was too hard to eat. I suggest you finish your sandwich at one... More

Two of us visited for a Saturday lunch. The menu is simple -- cold and hot sandwiches, a few sides and salads, a couple of soups, and some desserts (cookies, cheesecakes, pies, etc.). The (cold) roasted turkey sandwich was "ho-hum" and mayo-heavy, but the potato salad and pasta side salads were both decent/good, as was the (hot) BBQ beef sandwich.... More

I had one of the most delicious (and delightfully messiest!) BBQ sandwiches at this place. The waitress was very friendly.

We loved finding this restaurant while wandering Olympia. The staff were very friendly and our waiter took time to learn what kind of taste we were looking for. The ambiance is laid back but busy with all of the customers. Highlights: The four cheese sandwich was tasty, and the albacore tuna, especially on jalapeño bread, was amazing. Just right for... More

My husband & I spent the day walking around downtown Olympia yesterday! We decided to try out 5th Avenue Sandwich Shop for lunch. I ordered the French Dip & my husband ordered the BBQ Beef. I absolutely loved my French Dip. My husband devoured his BBQ Beef! It's a little messy but well worth it! The staff was super friendly... More

We stopped for lunch on our way home from Oregon and loved their sandwiches. I had the four cheese which was fabulous. My husband thought their egg salad was the best he ever had. The service was excellent in spite of being packed. We will return.
