We had such hope for an authentic Jewish Deli. Instead it was Russian Jewish. Didn't enjoy the fare at all. No bagels, no sandwiches piled high with deli meats, just Russian recipes for salads with beets and soups that lacked flavor.

A real Jewish deli in Olympia?! That's right. Good food, an amiable and social atmosphere and very community oriented spot. The Tibor is absolutely delicious (pastrami delight!) There's live music one evening during the week. Loved it!

This is a classic Jewish deli where, in addition to bagels, many of the Polish and Russian dishes are made in-house. The bagel with lox dish is a perfect rendition, but many consider thee price a bit steep. Maybe, but it is the real thing. Good coffee too. Friendly service and the quality of the food is first-rate.

They only have one high chair which was being used. Thankfully it took the food so long to arrive that it was available before we ate. We ordered a PBJ for our 20 month old. It came on a rock hard thick bagel. We asked for a slice of bread instead. They only had Jewish rye. Ever try a PBJ... More

There was a wide variety of good things to eat. Plenty of seating and very pleasant atmosphere. The service was cheerful and quick.

Amazing place! Their lox is fresh and delicious! They have a great selection of egg salad, potato salad, knish, begels and other Jewish delicacies! Great community feeling. Will be returning for the pickled herring very soon!

I had good things about this new deli and decided to give it a try. First thing I noticed was it has more of a funky Olympia feel than a New York deli atmosphere. The reuben had a different taste than what I've had elsewhere, but it was very good.

My first visit to the new Jewish deli Oly which ain't so new anymore was for breakfast. The place was staffed by a super nice bunch of ladies (owners?) who were happy to answer any questions. My breakfast included a healthy-sized omelette with great fillers, including locally smoked pastrami, some homefries and of decent cup of local coffee. i was... More

There is no better soup than Matzo (or Matzah) Ball Soup; until you have a disappointing bowl at Kitzel's. I was so sad! It was cold on top of everything else wrong. Wonderful atmosphere; great service. My husband did not like anything about his sandwich; but the salt pickle was good. Some places have wonderful bakers; this is a place... More

Tuna melt is super yummy on most days! The atmosphere is great. I love the people that work here. A little pricey and they need to perhaps expand their menu but they are new to open and they are really aware of what people like and want. I hope this place sticks around.
