Had a brisket sandwich. Hmm? The brisket was crumbly and dry. As BBQ person who makes brisket in a smoker regularly this was not good brisket. Rather it seemed it was the bits or trimmings. The coleslaw was different but good and the beans were ok. But I can say I was disappointed and didn't think it was good BBQ... More

It is hard to find good BBQ in Washington State, and if you are looking for it, this isn't necessarily it. I spend a lot of time traveling down south much of the year though, so I am pretty picky. What my biggest problem with this establishment is was the service. Don't expect to be treated promptly and professionally, this... More

We were told amything bbq would. Be be served asap we waited 20 in a totaly empty restaurant and then we were served the worst food. The coleslaw is cabbage with only apple cider vinegar. The beans have no flavor. The beef ribs aren't worth the 26.00 i would not pay 2.00 for them the pork ribs were acceptable. If... More

We were heading to the ocean for a few days of r&r and we were looking for a quick lunch along the way. Saw the sign and drove right in. I had a pulled pork sandwich, onion rings, chili, potato salad and a chocolate shake. It was all remarkable. The pork melted in my mouth. Best potato salad ever and... More

I went with my son and daughter in law who raved over the food and I have to agree. The restaurant has won many awards for all of it's food, not just the bbq. I had the brisket with a side of coleslaw and beans. The smokiness of bbq was nicely offset by the coleslaw which was vinegar based; it's... More

Disappointed! Few Olympia resturants offer well done dishes but I was hoping this place would at least be close to good if not great with all the 4-5 star customer reviews etc. Salmon was cold and tasteless, beef ribs were dry and hard to chew as well as hard to get off the bone. Brisket was tender but tasted very... More

New place to try with friends. Smelled good from the outside. I got chicken and rib tip platter with slaw. One friend got burger special and other friend, ribs. Everything was delicious. Great slaw! We also got appetizer of garlic drummies that were oh so good. A little pricie, but very good. Lots of food, took leftovers home and enjoyed... More

My Wife and I decided to stop in for lunch on our way to Westport, Wa. for some Salmon and Bottom Fishing. First!, we were greeted by this Little Firecracker of a Woman who I would assume is the owner (very animated this one is for sure & loud)! None the less!, it's good to run into folks like her... I've dined here twice for lunch and dinner, on both occasions I had their off-menu king salmon special. It was excellent. I've tasted the ribs which were phenomenal, but I notice they're cooked dry and you are free apply the amount of sauce you want. The potato boats are supremely delicious, just a tad greasy. The outdoor dining area is... More

Any BBQ place needs to smelled from the road or how else is it a good BBQ place. Well this place has that great smell which has the taste to back it up. Would recommend this place to anyone. Clean and a good price.
