There were eight of us for supper and we each had something different. Everything was perfect -- taste, texture, presentation, portion size. The oysters were fresh and shucked expertly, plus there was a healthy dollop of lemon sorbet that provided a new taste treat for me anyway. Some of us had entrees, others two small plates. The nice thing about... More

Excellent charcuterie appetizer, nice local wines...we shared an excellent WA rose. The service was friendly, even though we arrived without a reservation on graduation weekend. The food was wonderful, and accommodated a variety of appetites, allowing us to order small plates, salads and full size entrees. Save room for dessert, they are worth it!

I arrived at Acqua Via after 8:00 and they're only open till 9, but I and was met quickly at the door by a smiling male waiter. He cleared a table for me while I used the clean bathroom. When I came out he greeted me and showed me to my set corner table with fresh water ready to pour.... More

I had not been to Acqua Via in awhile. Now i'm going through radiation treatments, so i thought i would treat myself to a sandwich and a couple glasses of wine on my way home. After two lunchtime, weekday visits, the sandwiches are fine, the soups are good (although one was too spicy - i shouldn't have really spicy food... More

Had dinner with friends who love the place. Somewhat overpriced food with smallish portions. Great presentation and they have excellent wine choices. It was busy and service was okay but not great. With a group of six they tacked on 20% gratuity. That was a little high, should be 15%. Got coffee and was never refilled. If you like good... More

So... pathetic but true: I'd rather go hungry than eat so-so food; on a recent trip to Seattle from Portland, I made the short detour, both ways, to snag a meal at this lovely little restaurant. Inventive but not excessively cute in its cooking, superb coffee from the local roaster next door - really nice. Wish it was in my... More

One wouldn't think finding great food in a state capitol would be difficult and it isn't in Olympia, if you like franchise hamburgers or teriyukky (sic) joints. Acqua Via breaks the mold in Olympia with original menus featuring fresh ingredients and handcrafted seasonal cocktails! We enjoy their selection of locally sourced cheeses and produce. Additionally, Acqua Via features 'small plates'... More

We waited over 35 minutes for a mediocre salad and sandwich.....not great considering we had to go back to work. Service was lacking as well. Probably wont try it again.

The location is right in town and a nice area for walking in good weather. The beer is very nice and the small meal I had was pleasant.

This well-located downtown Olympia gem is a treat for the serious foodie. Eclectic menu where every item is worth a try. Good service in mellow surroundings. Perfect for date night or a special occasion, or just a weeknight indulgence.
